I am getting a 'free' xbox 360 today on that offer.

I got 300euro in clubcard vouchers yesterday from their 50% back pc offer a few months back and will get another hundred in Feb for xbox.

BTW there in no restriction on the vouchers, they came as 6x50euro vouchers stapled on to my statement, they even sent it by registered post!!!

Tesco.....every little helps

I'm wary of loyalty card schemes, but this seems like a great deal....anyone know if you can walk in and sign up there and then for a clubcard and avail of this offer?

[edit]Strombone; they had 27" LCD models by some little known maker this morning when I was in...didn't spot a price. No CRTs that I could see...

They had a 32" LCD the other night but it's €899! With the 25% off that comes to €674, still dearer than the ALDI or LIDL ones, but at least you won't get trampled in the rush! But then you have to wait till Feb for your vouchers....

Yes walk in and you get a paper card, this can be scanned at the checkout there and then. You can register anytime, I didnt register until months later and got loads of money off, they accumulate all the points on the card even if you didnt register.

Tesco is well worth singing up to, they often have 25% back on booze, I stock up every time and by the time I am running low they have the deal on again. When these deals are on they do not jack up the price either, stuff is already cheap or on offer and you get 25% off on top of that. I know it is vouchers but it is as good as money to me since I always shop there. And the voucher are not €5 off if you spend €50, it is like a gift voucher.

Also this month for no reason tesco sent me free vouchers, nothing to do with points. For the next 6 or 8 weeks I get between €4-6 off if I buy stuff over €25 (does have that restricition) average of about €5 per week. Think they have a dvd player for €40 at the moment, so that would be €24 with my free vouchers and the 25%

Just back from the tallaght leisure center (the square). Plenty of CRTs. I did see a bush one for 269. I think it was 28 inches.

There was a lot of electrical good available.

I got the feeling up there that this 25% back applies for mobile phones too.
