This is to be used to discuss any and all possible topics regarding Counter-Strike.



1) DO NOT POST COMPLAINTS ABOUT INDIVIDUAL SERVERS ONTO BOARDS.ie:
Any threads created in this manner will be deleted on sight, and the thread starter will be warned // banned. Contact the server admins themselves and sort out your differences that way.

2) DO NOT POST PRIVATE MESSAGES FOR OTHER MEMBERS OF BOARDS.ie ON THIS FORUM:
Posts in this manner will be deleted, and the poster will be warned // banned. Use the private message system instead - That's what its there for.

3) KEEP IT CIVIL:
Arguments are a healthy part of discussions. A bit of slagging will be tolerated, but if you start to get out of line, the Moderators will let you know VERY quickly, and people WILL be banned from the forum for misbehaviour.

4) KEEP IT ON-TOPIC:
This board is for the discussion of Counter-Strike. Topics related to or of interest to the CS community in general will also be tolerated, at the moderators' discretion. Dragging threads off-topic via Spam / Thread Spoiling will result in these posts being deleted, the poster being punished and/or the thread being locked.

5) BE NICE TO NEWBIES:
There's nothing that's going to get you kicked out faster than being downright nasty to newbies simply asking questions.

6) DO NOT POST SPAM:
Spamming is the unrequired post by a user which already points out the obvious // Is a post concerning a topic the user realistically shows no interest in // Flames another user, thereby going off-topic. Spam will be deleted in order to preserve the thread that it was posted in. Repeating this offense will result in a ban.

7) AVOID THREAD SPOILING:
Thread spoiling is achieved by continuously posting off-topic material, to the point where the thread becomes 'spoiled'. Spoiled threads will be locked, and the contributors to the 'spoiling' will be dealt with accordingly.

8) PERSONAL ABUSE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED:
There is absolutely no need to use this forum in order to insult other members. While we have no problem housing civil arguement or disagreement, we will NOT tolerate any form of personal attack against another member. Personal Insults result in an immediate and permanant ban from this forum - Also, if someone insults you and you insult them back, you will ALSO be permanantly banned. Instead, use the 'REPORT POST' button to highlight the post to the moderators of this forum, and it shall be dealt with accordingly.

9) DO NOT TRY TO GOAD PEOPLE INTO GETTING BANNED:
Anyone who attempts to bait another user into recieving a ban will be warned / punished / banned instead. Goading other members into insulting you, for example, is a cheap and disgraceful tactic to use against other people. Just like the above rule, use the 'REPORT POST' button to highlight this to a Moderator and it shall be investigated.

If you have any suggestions for the Board itself, feel free to PM one of the Moderators - Idea's and suggestions are welcome.

At the same time, if you have a problem with the Board, or any of it's Moderators, then PM the Moderator in question and 'politely' discuss the situation with them. If you are not satisfied, then feel free to contact one of the other board Moderators, or the Admins of the forum. Do NOT post complaint threads in the CS Forum, as they do NOT belong there.
