How do I get my comp to remember the sound config, everytime I start I have no sound and have to mickey around with the i/o settings to get it working. How do I get it to remember em?

Be a slight bit more specific .. what sounds exactly.. every sound or just windows sounds etc.. then maby more replies might hit
