Car insuranc for Performance car

Hi,
not sure if this is the place for this post so feel free to move if its not.

I am currently driving a Mazda 626 2 litre GLX (Ex Company Car) and am insured by Coyle Hamilton (Allianz). I'm 26, full (&clean) license and in November will have full no claims bonus.

I have managed to pick up a 92 RX-7 turbo and i'm thinking of keeping it as a second car. Firstly does anyone know of any companies i should try for insurance on it, who might do the best deals?

Secondly, does anyone know if they would insure me to drive it part time, say weekends or something??? Do insurance companies enter into deals like that? Would i need to move my first car to new company to get temporary cover like that?

Any help would be appreciated.

What were the details. How old are you? Full license? How much did they charge?

I have had Gtis & 2.5 litre BMW & Audi TT X 2 insured - Hibernian are really good right now (My Audi is with them) or else ring your broker & ask them to get The St Paul to quote - they specialise in high risk. First Irelanf 8820800 are a good broker. S

Well, any car under 3000CC, but that should be enough for most people!

Does the excess apply to 3rd party claims as well?
