Anybody know about this kit Here ?
It's cheap as chips.
Specifically, anybody know where to buy it online in Europe?

In tune music in Dun Laoghaire had some. There were 2 models, one with a drum brain and one with just a usb connector. If you have a program like battery your better off getting the one without the drum brain, as the default kits in battery are a million times better than the ones in the drum brain. Allthough for a little bit more you could always get a second hand v-drum set off e-bay (I got a great price on an old roland td-6 kit which is savage!) or perhaps try the fame dd-602 e-drums from http://www.musicstorekoeln.de which looks infinitly better than the pacific digital kit!

Yeah I had a Yamaha DTX-II as a loaner for ages so I know what to expect. I've seen that dd-06 before. Thomann also have it with an Alesis DM5 brain for some more moolah, and I nearly bought that. The thing is the pacific digital kit is $350 bucks. Convert that direct to Euros (assuming it would retail for that price in Europe) and it's half the price of any of the other kits. I'm not expecting gold washers, but for a wannabe drummer, it should be a good solution for getting midi percussion into my DAW.
Now can it be bought in Europe, I wonder....? |

You could try always try ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...775357309&rd=1
Its only 185 dollars at the mo from music123, and since they seem to have a few listed the price shouldnt raise to much, add say 100 for postage + import duty, should cost you less than 250 blips. or http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WD1V 128 dollars buy it now, and he does worldwide shipping. (the seller is Steve-o-store in case the link doesnt work, fantastic price though!) |

Jetpilot thanks for that. Ebay might be an option. The one you linked to doesn't have MIDI though, so I couldnt consider that.
Bombidol - what's the fame kit? Got a link - a quick browse with google brought up nothing. |
