This program is so funny.
The mad Japanise are at it again.

Not sure exactly what the format of the game is but its funny.

Its on Challenge TV Sky EPG 121 most days at 6 in the evening and later at night too.

I think this program is pure genius. Some of the games look like so much fun - I'd love to try them out.....

They could make a whole show out of that honeycomb maze game, IMHO... Great fun to watch!

Its a pity the final game is so crap compared to the others.

Challenge every day from 11pm to 12am (2 episodes!)

Its been around for a few years now (5+)

Funny ,watching people smash their faces into various strange objects.

Occassionaly they have american contestants and they always get hurt! Great fun to watch.

Parent and Children episodes also.

Dont like the narrator/commentator though (english)

i love the programme. my favourite games are High Rollers and Skipping Stones. they are all good. i saw it for the 1st time on DSF a few years ago. Trouble show it in the morning also.

what's the bet that ITV or someone will make a UK version and make it boring because it is doing really well ratings wise on Challenge

Craig Charles does the commentary.

It's a great show. The final stage is pretty crappy (I've never actually seen anyone win) but it's typical of those Japanese game shows - they always make a bad final scene (at least in the few I managed to catch when I was there). Love the tenpin game - it's the naffest thing I've ever seen. The contestants take it so seriously as well

I love watching de contestants trying to run up the muddy wall(?) to grab a rope to make it to the over side. They dont give up at all! Funny, CraZY nutters!

It's hilarious when they smash face 1st into a walled door too!

Did anyone see the guy who climbed up onto the walls of the maze instead of running through it? The guards couldn't reach him... a legend..

They show an omnibus on Sundays. I think it's 4 episodes back to back.
I've never seen anyone beat the Emerald Guard at the end, but I have switched onto it just at the end and someone had won it.

I've never seen anyone win this either..the last challenege is a bit of a farce really, usually about time I change over. And what exactly is the grand prize for winning?

one other thing..is this the show that they were taking the pi$$ out of on that episode of the simpsons where they went to japan?

yes i saw that. ingenius. is that the same episode where some guy tried a back flip and landed on the back of his head

Not specifically. They've got a few shows like this. It's a good example though.
