access the relays - bmw 320d

hi, i removed the glove box to get at the fuel pump relay which im trying to change to see if it fixes a problem. its hard to take out the relays as there are 3 big thick connectors just below the relays preventing you getting your fingers in, is it safe to unplug these so i can get at the relays? cheers
