Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    34c partly cloudy + humid.
    Drizzled for 5 minutes earlier.

    Wet Season in tropical Queensland (1,000 km inland).

    Overall very pleasant after two months of a "build up" season
    where temperatures were maxing at 38c pretty much everyday
    Sunshine was violent here around the times of the solstice`s (at my latitude it occurs twice!!)
    worth noting that the earth is closer to the sun during the southern
    hemisphere solstice.

    Air con in my office is 28c, the guy in the office next to me sets his at 30c yes three zero celsius!!!
