A lot of physical effort - only took about 15mins but seemed longer. Had to use one of those supports that you strap on and that the rod fitted into. Muscles ached for a few days.

Here's a 2lb bass I caught at about 8pm this evening at Newtown beach, Ballygarret. Co. Wexford. Caught it on a small rag. We also caught numerous small flat fish and dogfish. Lovely evening overall.

i've been trying to upload both my catches, but the manage attachement screen bombs out everytime.

    The 2 jpegs are 1064KB and 885KB, which shouldn't be a problem.

    Any clues anyone?

    thanks

    Jason

btw, off topic, can someone recommend a few good forums for Irish anglers? i know sea angling ireland is great but i'm more interested in fly fishing tbh.
