I suppose such a thing would be perfect for physical copies of Shmups, seeing as they are going to look better on a CRT anyway?
    Interesting....

Jeff from digitalsystemdesigns has an astro city for sale again. It's just a "hobby" now since he left the scene in a quiet disgrace a while back.

Picked up a PS Vita slim last week.
Selling it on as I prefer the older version and it just wont be used.

Bit of a bargain price, might go quick.

I've no interest in Commodore stuff but I know a fair few here have. A garage find of seemingly unopened Commodores.

If you do end up taking the lot, & wish to let some of the excess away, stick me down for one Steve if you want to split them & recoup the costs

    My thoughts exactly :(

If I was a reseller, I wouldn't buy those. There's no guarantee that they work, and to verify that they work after being stored for nearly 25 years, you have to 'use' them, and then they're no longer 'unused.' And if they don't work, you have to learn how to repair C64s or pay somebody to fix them.

Personally the first thing I'd do with those is power them on...electronics really don't like to be idle for prolonged periods. I'd rather have a stock of 'new but tested' C64's, than a stock of 'capacitor gunk ruined' C64's. Opening them before powering them on would even give some indication as to their likelihood of working.

    don't open them
get them VGA graded, and them sell them for five grand a piece.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,358 ✭✭✭✭Kolido

Its a bit greedy someone diving in for the whole lot. I would rather see 5 buyers get 1 each but of course its more hassle for the seller.
Would be interesting to see if their working if they have been lying idle for so long.
