    Clarkson once said something along the lines of the French manufacturers all making something in the executive car sector. They know that nobody will ever buy one but Sarkozy has to have something French to step out of when he goes overseas.

    In saying that though, I think the French government has a stretched Citroën SM for VIPs which is nothing but class.

    I don't blame them, it has all the style of a ten year old Toyota. The Vel Satis was a horrible looking car, but at least it was distinct.

    I surprised to see a 12 Laguna coupe last week in cork. It was white with a black roof!?! I think the coupe was one of the most attractive cars on the market but that one looked terrible.
