+1 that's a well funky looking timepiece. Nice and modern, not harking back and most of all without trying. Sweet. Well may you wear.

Cheers guys. I missed the one on tz a few weeks back (has since been relisted) so found this one elsewhere. Actually nicer than the one I originally wanted, which had a carbon fibre effect dial. Really liking it so far. Has a touch of Linde Werdelin about it, but at about a third of the price.

I got home from work today and I found I had missed a delivery and could collect it tomorrow, I went online but it was bugging me that my watch (that I ordered about a month ago) was sitting just a few minutes away and I couldn't get it until tomorrow, so I rang them to see if there was any chance I could get it today.
    They said yes.

A mate of mine is a photography student, he wants to use the watch for a project where he has to make an advertisement so I'll have some professional pictures in a few days, he has a studio booked for Friday.

Very nice watch, wouldn't mind that myself ...except for the see through hour bars ...the visible bits of date wheel are a bit weird, tbh

That's some collection alright. Nice one. Like the one on the fifth row down on the extreme right.

    Thanks Wibbs.

I can put up the watches from the shop if you want, but they're all antiques (or at least old)!!

That watch is a Nautica that I picked up on my first trip to Poland nearly 5 years ago. It came in a cool metal case with an LED penlight (complete with pen) and a small pair of binoculars. It has 2 watches (which you can set to different times), date, and a compass. Fortunately I wear my watch on my right hand, so I don't keep stabbing myself with the buttons! As far as I remember it cost around €250 at the time, and was also available in orange, which looked great.

Here are a couple on ebay. (I hope that it's OK to link them; they're nothing to do with me).

Picked up this in NY at the weekend

    T3C178.jpg

Was in one of those outlet malls admittedly but the RRP was $695 and they had a clearance sale and I picked it up for $150 :)

Here's a link to an indépendant review that lists the price at between $650-$725 so well happy!

Will upload some proper pics with the DSLR later on when I get a chance.

Website is http://www.txwatches.com/ First time seeing this brand but some lovely watches so may look for another on my next trip!

I figured a splash of colour would be no harm for the summer, and never having owned a G before i was anxious to try one out, so i snagged my first G Shock last week, its massive but wears very comfy and is going to be perfect for wearing to the beach etc over the summer.

Did you use anything in particular to polish it because it looks great. It's like it is just out of the shop.

Just got some watch tools in the post this morning so finally managed to remove some links from my Orange Monster. I know a few of you guys have one of them, it's a fantastic watch for the price.

Here's some pics of my recent TX acquisitions. Sadly, TX has decided to call it a day after a few short years of watchmaking, but the upside is there are some fantastic deals to be had as retailers clear out their inventory (the weak dollar is a big plus too!).

    TX 730 series:
    tx3.jpg
I like the chequerboard effect on the face which is only visible at certain angles. My only gripe is the second hand does not align correctly with the markers which is a shame as the build quality of the watch is generally excellent.

TX Pilot (600) series in metallic blue:
    tx2.jpg

This watch was one of a limited edition announced at Baselworld 2010. The other editions available include an all black edition without lume, a metallic grey and an all white edition. The time can be hard to read in daylight as there is not enough lume on the minute hand in comparison to the other watch.

    Tx1.jpg

Both watches feature 6 hand quartz movement, sapphire crystal, an electronic compass and water resistance to 100m.

Was wondering why I got such a good deal on my TX purchase recently in New York! Down from $650 to $150! Any online retailers that have stock left they are trying to clear? Would love another one!

Where did you pick up those ones.. Beautiful.

Thanks :) Both were ebay purchases - the Pilot watch came from Italy and the other was a more recent purchase from the states. There seem to be a lot of private individuals who are buying end of line stock and reselling on ebay. However, I still think ebay is your best bet as online retailers tend to charge more and use courier companies rather than the postal service to deliver.
Edit: Forgot to ask, which TX did you get?
