    hi,
booked in for a text tattoo shortly
I know what I want tattoo but I haven't decided on the location yet.

I was thinking of wrapped around my arm or (a late night brain wave) down my spine (vertical with something like a diamond between each word)
The text is 5 words "Aut viam inveniam aut faciam"

Has anybody gotten text done in these locations? how did it work out?

or any other text locations that work for you

    Spine idea sounds cool.

Just my opinion but it'd look awesome done in a similar script to this:

    Rome_Colosseum_inscription_2.jpg

    That classical, but spidery fashion.

Best of luck man, sounds like a great idea for a tat.

How big you want to go with it? The size will really determine where it will look best :)
Lower back? Across your stomach? Across your shoulders?
Theres a lot of places to get a line of text written, i do like the idea of spiraling down your arm though, maybe a half sleeve (lower half) with a few other bits of meaning to you to fill it out?

Sounds fab, excuse my ignorance but what does the text translate to?

thanks _ I'll stick a pic in the "show me yours" in a few days when it's healed - kinda red now

It means "I'll either find a way or make one" - it's a quote from Hannibal when told he couldn't get his elephants over the alps to attack rome.

For the scholars among you - yes he probably spoke Punic - but the quote is recorded in latin from that time :)
