First thread!

I'd love to hear your honest answers. I enjoy watching porn, a lot. My boyfriend was a bit taken aback in the beginning when I mentioned it, and at the time I was worried he would be put-out over it. But luckily it turned out it didn't bother him. In fact, he likes hearing about what weird and wonderful films I've watched, and he likes watching them with me

So how about you girls? Do you watch adult movies?

It's hard to find good, new porn. Even the under-the-counter over-priced stuff in sex-shops is crap. Online is the way to go, if you can bear wading through all the dodgy, time-wasting sites. If I wasn't so stingey I'd pay for membership to a decent site. Oooh! Come to think of it, there's my X-mas present sorted!!! Heeheehee! ;D

I really enjoy watching porn, but it's not something I openly admit.
There's still a taboo around it I think.
It is also hard to find porn geared towards women.

There are loads of good porn movies for us girlies online; Youporn have a 'Romantic' section and Pornhub has a 'Female friendly' section

Also using the search feature is your friend, especially on sites like xvideos where there are a gazillion tags.

I think theres a niche for more female orientated adult movies! I have bought a few from Ann Summers... a yawn-fest to say the least!

Depends on what you're into. Personally I don't see the attraction in the "Female Friendly" stuff. Well, if that was the only type, it would have to do.

No way. I have used it in the past, and I enjoyed it quite a lot. That was before I read about the abuses in the industry. Now I couldn't really enjoy it even if I wanted to.

its quite rare. but occasionally feel the urge and am glued to the screen for a few hours but i play the online sex games more than watching the porn itself because a lot of porn is pretty... all about the pole :rolleyes:

oh yeah not many know but its not a secret - who cares what someone watches really?

We watch together and separately. I never understand this inability to find "good porn" - the internet is chock full of the stuff, you can't fail but find something/some site that does it for you...or maybe I'm just not that fussy!

We go through cycles of watching porn and then not really watching it at all for a while. I'm going through a stage of making up erotic fantasies for us rather than us watching porn at the mo - it's great fun, I highly recommend it!

I have a mad thing for super weird porn. I've sent links to people that left them unable to close their eyes for a few days, but I found it hilarious. I'll go on a site to find something sexy but I often get bored so try and find something funny.

Definitely, it's no big secret. My GF watches with me sometimes, sometimes I just watch on my own for inspiration and to help me along occassionally. (I have a rubbish imagination! :P:P:P)

I don't like the big production stuff, especially because it's nearly always told from a purely male perspective, and tbh it's often a bit... gross, or something. And there are definitely questions about the ethics of the studios. But I love me some amateur porn, real folks who get a thrill out of uploading videos and other people watching them. Way hotter than the fake crap that comes out of America.

And like others ave said, it's very difficult to get decent quality lesbian porn that isn't just ridiculous. I know lesbian sex, and it sure as hell doesn't look like THAT. :cool:

Wouldn't be a very regular thing though. To be honest once in a blue moon I'll get the urge and then it won't happen again for ages!

I think porn is stereotyped as a male thing, and while they may indulge more often, I reckon there are a lot more women out there who indulge too and wouldn't be as quick to admit it.

And I'd absolutely second what Ickle said about coming up with some erotic fantasies yourself. This has led to some excellent results.

I wouldn't say it's very difficult to find decent quality lesbian porn at all. I mean, depending on where you look, you might have to filter through a lot of unrealistic crap targeted at a particular male demographic, but tbh, no more than you have to filter through any other genre of porn (I'm a straight male, and can't stand the painfully contrived, generic, mainstream stuff).

Not all porn comes from the industry though (although some "amateur" sites are probably linked to the industry too). I have never understood the attraction of the stereotypical porn star.

I haven't voted because I don't like the emphasis in the "No way!" option. Maybe it's just me but that reads like "No I don't and I never would because I don't like it or agree with it!!"

Personally I don't watch porn but it's simply because I prefer reading erotica. If there was an adult film on TV I wouldn't switch it off and I would no doubt enjoy it, certainly have in the past.

No because there are too many abuses of people in the industry. It's like buying clothes or shoes you know were made by 10 year old children working 90 hours in a sweatshop or eating eggs laid by battery hens who never see the light of day.

Some of Anais Nin's writing is good but it can go over the edge at times. Arthur Miller is also interesting but anything that even faintly borders on paedophilia/incest makes me very uncomfortable so I avoid him.

Even so erotic fiction is the better of the two options.
