Is there anything to do midweek in Portlaoise? I have been living in Portlaoise for about 6 months, I am never here at the weekend, so maybe its great for clubs etc at the weekend?

    Midweek though, nothing?

If you have time on your hands (approx. 2 hours at least once a month) and have an interest in helping out then portarlington youth club would be interested in hearing from you. Please email us on portarlingonyouthclub@yahoo.co.uk.

We run a club for 12 - 18 year olds every wednesday and we really need more volunteers.

    No longer in operation.
All of the major towns have large playgrounds.
Roll and Bowl Clonminham business park has an indoor play area.
Portlaoise has lots of clubs,GAA, soccer ,swimming, Brownies,Ladybirds,Scouts...quite a lot to do.

    Welcome!

hi, there is a very good one in carlow called ranchoreilly. its only around 20 mins outside , it is very good. my own 8 and 2 year olds love it.

the brownies need to be registered very early as they don't have high places. i will PM you the number of the leader of my 8 year old girls one, it has a few spots i think.

to be fair there is not a huge amount for kids in the area, swimming on saturday and sunday is good.
