    It's a boy!!!!
Do you know if anyone has lost one!!!!
It's such a georgous solid outgoing little thing it's hard to imagine that someone left him.
He was playing with my dog ( big) with no qualms; very well socialised & Ghent with another lady's 3 dogs for about an hour; we each thought it belonged to the other ... It was only when the carpark was deserted & the castle was about to close that we realised & started looking for an owner ...
No collar; no microchip; I couldn't believe it when the vet said no to the microchip

    Hi all,

My neighbours cat was last seen yesterday (Feb 3rd) at 8.30am. He has now been missing over 24 hours and we are all very worried. He went missing from the Camden Lock apartments in the Ringsend / Pearse St area.

He is five years old. All black with a white chin and some white on his back paws. No collar. We suspect he may have been in a fight so he may look worse for wear.

Any information would be much appreciated. It is very unlike him to venture off like this.

    Picture to follow asap.

    Larry returned today!

    Hey everyone,

My cat is missing from Cnoc Na Greine in Kilcullen, County Kildare.

He had an injured back leg and was kept in for a few days while it healed.
The day he was allowed back out he didnt come home so he possible hurt the leg again and is stuck somewhere.

If anyone from the estate happens to read this could you please check your gardens for him. He is extremely friendly and wont have a proplem with anyone picking him up. He is missed an awful lot by myself and by my son.

If anyone sees him please drop me a PM!!!

After three months my little munchkin came home all fat and raggidy looking.
No idea where she was but delighted to have her back, she's terrified to go outside now though, she must have had some adventure :o

Just spotted a Weimaraner and a reddish looking Retreiver wandering around the Spar at Kennillworth crossroads. They look like two dogs that got out of a yard. Both seemed animated both went into the shop sniffing around. No sign of collars or an owner. Just putting this out, maybe prematurely but better safe than sorry.

I saw someone has very kindly posted my poster concerning my lost kitties, thank you so much. We live on Rathgar Villas, off Rathgar Avenue, so the cats could be anywhere Harolds Cross, Terenure, Rathgar, Rathmines or other joining areas. We had a break in on wed night/thursday morning, nothing was stolen in the end but the front door was left wide open, a temptation too great for our little ladies. They are about a year and a half but still quite small, one is particularly tiny. We had been saving for micro chip and spaying, and were keeping them inside until then. They are totally new to the outside world and probably in heat. Im also afraid that in the panic of their exit, considering it rained solidly all day and the next, that they may not have taken care to check their surroundings, and the scent on the paths they took is likely washed away. We miss them like crazy and have been searching non stop, so if you see anything that could possibly be helpful please get in touch. We are really worried about them.
The photos and our numbers are in the poster a few posts back, but heres one more each for good measure.

Indeed, woke up, checked my emails, read the alert, clicked on the link you posted and the dog was brought home within hours. This thread and your post couldn't be more helpful. Thanks once more!

I posted here about a week or so ago about my indoor only cats that were let out during a break in at our home in Rathgar/Harolds Cross, Dublin. Thank you everyone who read about my missing cats or shared the information. It means so much that such an overwhelming amount of people are helping out of the goodness of their hearts. It really has been a mind blowing response.

The wonderful news is that we now have one of our missing ladies back home safe and sound, and purring the house down. We are absolutely thrilled to have her home, and she won't run short on cuddles and treats for quite some time!! Sadly Pizzle, her timid sister, is still missing. We are absolutely heart broken without Pizzle. We bottle fed her since she was dumped in our garden at a day or two old, and she firmly attached herself to us, and spends most of her life sitting on our shoulders or tucked up on our knee. We are family, so to have her still missing but possibly so close by out of sight is devastating. The thought that she could be wasting away within a mile, possibly even a street from our house is so hard to bear. To know that people close by are helping to keep an eye out for her is the greatest comfort, and the best possible tactic to get her back safe and healthy. This is why your support has really bowled us over.

We suspect that wherever Pizzle is, that she is taking refuge in a hidden sheltered spot somewhere. Cats have been known to stay completely silent and still for weeks, coming out only under the cover of dark or when it is very quiet, to search for food. For this reason it would be a great help to us if you could do a careful check on your sheds, bushes, back lanes, behind bins or any other 'safe' spot a cat may have discovered. If you don't see a cat, perhaps you may see signs of a cat frequenting to the spot.

I ask that if you do live somewhere close, or if you know anyone who lives close, could you share the pages listed with them? I have made a facebook and a tumblr with some photo's and information, so people can try to put a positive I.D. On Pizzle. I have made posters and fliers, and talked to many people in the area, but I know there are still a lot of people to reach. I am aware that many people would not think to look at posters, and we get so much junk mail it must be hard to recognize that one of the fliers could be important. I also know that these days, many people might be more inclined to respond online, or post things that may be of interest to finding Pizzle. It's important to us to try to reach as many people in the neighborhood as possible, so your 'shares' would make the chances of finding little Pizzle so much higher.

Thank you again, you guys are amazing!

I am posting on behalf of a friend who is missing their cat.

she's orange with a white chest and paws. Had a plain black collar on with a tab saying "My Home" on it, though she may not have it anymore, because it's one of those ones with a clip that opens easily in case the cat gets stuck on something. Small head, answers to Waffle. We saw her when we put her out the back yesterday morning before work and not since then. She doesn't go too far from the house, so we're hoping she's probably around Lambay View/St Catherine's estate (RUSH ,Dublin) somewhere, but she may have strayed further.About 2 years old. She has a breathing problem and snorts rather than miows."

If anyone has any around that area has seen here drop me a PM . My friend would be delighted.

    thanks

This is a real long long shot but any chance it was a red collar with a design on it?? I was up in Tescos in Ballybrack this evening & there was an oldie black lab with very similar facial markings to this - I know its a long long way from Ashbourne BUT you never know.. can you send me pic of collar ?
Whereabouts in Ashbourne did she go missing from? I spend a lot of time walking round there with my lot.

    Hi everyone,

I am the friend that Martron posted on behalf of.

We live in Lambay View estate in Rush, Co. Dublin. As said in the original post, we've lost our cat, Waffle. She's a small ginger cat, and may be wearing a black collar. We have both herself and her sister, and they go out every morning. She never came back on Monday evening, which is unusual because they both stick fairly closely to the house and are very regular about being at home. We've checked all around our estate (Lambay View), the surrounding roads, St Catherines and the Palmer Road, and found nothing. She's very friendly and (distinguishing features) has a small black freckle on her nose, and doesn't miaow much. She's got some breathing problems, so she tends to snort a bit - she sounds like someone with a blocked nose a lot of the time.

We've posted photos on Drogheda Animal Rescue (which is where we got them from) and Lost Cats and Kittens Facebook pages, and I've emailed Catsaid.org. We will probably hang some posters aswell in the coming days. I've put links to the Facebook pages below.

Can you please, please keep an eye out for her. If you have any kids, or know any kids, can you please ask them to keep an eye out too (they tend to notice more than we do). The kids in the houses around us all seem to know her quite well and are aware that she's missing. I'd also ask you to check your gardens - sheds, garages, under decks etc - because she may have got stuck somewhere. I know it might seem like a long shot, but we really really want her back. You can PM myself or Martron if you see anything.

Hi everyone, just posting about Waffle the cat again.

Just to let everyone know we've had a couple of calls to say Waffle may have been seen on the Palmer Road, particularly in the Ladycove area of Rush, in Dublin (the last call was this morning).

Can you please, please keep an eye out for her if you're in this area. She's very friendly, if you manage to get close enough to catch her (food is always a good incentive for her) and we would be so grateful to anyone who could find her and get her back to us. We have her sister aswell and they're very much a pair.

If you could PM me if you manage to see anything that would be great, and as I said before, ask the kids to keep an eye out. There are posters up in the shops in Rush with a number on them either, to ring. I've put a couple of photos with this post.

    Thanks everyone.

Very friendly and in good condition (doesn't look like a stray) cat found in apartment block garden on Bride St, Christchurch. I think she's around a year old but could also be a small cat and older. She has green eyes and white whiskers.
Please PM me if you think she's yours.
