Jaysus that's terrible, especially when you consider it was only a disused factory that was alight, poor chaps.

Wonder how this was started? Be a tough lesson learned for anyone who thought it would be a laugh to set ablaze an unused factory anyway.

Easy to forget about what an important and potentially dangerous job they do until something tragic like this happens. R.I.P.

Terribly sad; have to give credit to the emergency services who routinely put themselves in harms way for our sakes.

Any idea if these guys are volunteers; I know the Bray service used to be.

Emergency services getting a rough time of it this week. Reminds us all what brave people they are.

one connot give more than to die trying to protect others

yes rgey are retained firefighters(part time) called when there is a fire
    RIP
god bless their familys, friends and colleagues

    A Fireman's Prayer

When I am called to duty, God,

    Whenever flames may rage;

Give me strength to save some life,

    Whatever be its age.

Help me embrace a little child

    Before it is too late

    Or save an older person

From the horror of that fate.

    Enable me to be alert

    And hear the weakest shout,

    And quickly and efficiently

    To put the fire out.

I want to fill my calling

And to give the best in me

    To guard my every neighbor

    And protect his property.

And if, according to my fate,

I am to lose my life,

    Please bless with your protecting

    My children and my wife.

    God rest them
Firefighters are often taken for granted.
A firefighters next call could be his last

Very sad news, I have the utmost respect for these people.
Just last night, there was a show on sky one which showed some areas in britain where the local scumbag kids lit fires on purpose so when the fire brigade arrived out they could hurl bricks and planks at them.
    Disgusting.
As if their job isn't hard enough as it is.

    R.i.p.
