    Just a quickie.

If I was selling 3 components: an xp2600 with hsf, an asus a7n8x mobo and a Hercules 9800XT what would be a rough figure to ask for it? I know it wouldn't be much but just looking for a ballpark figure.

    Cheers for any advice.

PS I live in London so I can't sell to any boardsters. Sorry.

If i wanted those components i'd pay

40 for the cpu, 40 for the motherboard and 120 for the 9800xt

    120 is probably a tad steep for a 9800xt.....I'd say more 100ish :)

    Dell Inspiron 4000 (laptop)
      PIII 850 Mhz
      320 MB Ram
      60 GB 7200 Hard drive
      8 X DVD+/-RW drive
      U.S.Robotics wireless network card 5400 ( PCMCIA )
      14.1" display ( 1400 x 1050 )
Battery life of 8 minutes! This thing needs to be plugged in all the time. The battery just gets me from A to B around the house and saves the machine if theres a power cut. This thing is actually surprisingly nippy. My mate has a new laptop with a pentium M 1.6 Ghz and 512 ram. The difference is there, but you have to look for it.

I'd say about 300 maybe...450 on buy and sell..weak cpu and gfx, memory isn't great. Again, would make a nice family computer for light use, won't do well at any newish games at all :(

How come you have such a powerful psu for that setup?

Striker, surely you should know by now that's the kinda stuff you aren't supposed to post here! But damn....nice pc.....:o

Dunno really, went through about 3 in the space of 6 months and got that and its been ok since, thought it would be needed for the whole twin processor thing. What about upgrading the thing? mp processors seem to be hard to find

Cheers for that by the way

I am thinking of going to America for the summer so would sell my laptop to help fund it, any ideas what it is worth?
    Dell Inspiron 8600 Laptop
    1.5Mhz Pentium M
    512MB RAM
    128MB graphics card
    60GB hard drive
15.4" Widescreen with resolution of 1920x1200
Wireless LAN and bluetooth, infrared etc
    DVDRW drive
It still has a full year NBD warranty on it and Complete Accidental Cover on it left.

I was thinking myself that it would be worth at least a €1000 as a similar laptop on the Dell website is €1687 and the only extras it has is the 1GB RAM and a 1.86Ghz Pentium M chip (Inspiron 6000)

    Digiman:
If you're selling to an informed buyer, they'll point you to a 9300 on the outlet with better specs than yours for 888 + vat. So would start negotiating at 600 & reluctantly pay 700 tops.

I am seriously thinking of selling my desktop and getting a Dell 9400. What do you guys think id get for this:

    Dell 8300 (3GHz P4, 800Mhz fsb, 512kB l2 cache)
    1024MB PC3200 ram (4x256)
ATI x800 pro AGP with Artic cooler Rev4
    Audigy 2 zs
    120GB+80GB IDE hard drives

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Because i would like to see would it make more sence to break it up or sell it as a whole. Thanks
