very excited now tomorows gona be rough though i got work at 8 what time will it be over does anyone have an estimate

The first round goes very slow from my memory...

But now the last draft I watched was the 2010 one, and I think the rules have changed since then, still going to be a long road.

Giants signed Shaun Rodgers. We aren't going DT in the first IMO now.

Dunno, he's not a long term solution. Worthy be great pick if he is there.

Osi is gone IMO. He's not playing under this contract. He'll be traded away and we'll go DE in the first to keep our rotation system.

I like Rodgers, while he's not long term its certainly a good solution for the moment.

Anyone who's not using www.walterfootball.com for the draft should be. No better site as regards the draft, he has 44 mocks this year, a live blog and live ratings for the pick. He's a bit of craic too.

Schefter just tweeted that Cleveland has traded up to 3

Edit: they gave up #4 and 2 other picks to move up one spot, for Trent Richardson most likely

What?? Why would they do that?
    They are already at 4?
Unless the vikings are going all the way back to 22.

Trent Richardson on his way to Cleveland now surely ?

I guess they really want Richardson and got spooked that Tampa or someone would move up for him.

    WTF is going on?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,182 ✭✭✭Justin10

I read on twitter the browns gave their 1st (4th pick) 4th 5th and 7th round picks to move 1 spot to make sure they got Richardson

    Great move by the Vikings.

First 3 picks should be pretty obvious:

    1 Luck
    2 RGIII
    3 Richardson

Hopefully they wont spend 45 mins making the pick, pushing my Pats' picks past 11pm

    def richardson

vikings have traded the number 3 pick to the browns for 3 2012 selections, what the point in moving up 1 spot ??

    Great move by the Vikings.

I think it's their #4 overall pick, plus the 5th and 7th rounders.

Nice little earner for the Vikings.. basically picking up 2 free picks.

talk of another team trading up for the player they wanted, they must really want him to give up 3 picks.

Have no clue who the **** packers will draft

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,182 ✭✭✭Justin10

Its to stop other teams getting to 3 to take Richardson.
If anything im shocked the vikings didnt wait longer??

Must have had a lot of offers on the table.

So the Bucs or whoever can trade for the 3rd and take Richardson off their hands. Im presume Vikings told the browns that somebody was trying to trade for the 3rd pick to take Richardson, so it force their hands

Vikings get the 1, 4, 5, 7 picks according to Schefter on twitter for no 3 pick...

where the Vikings ever considering Richardson??? most mocks I've seen them going for Kalil with Richardson ending up in Cleveland anyways....

suppose if they really want him better safe than sorry but still...

  • Registered Users Posts: 833 ✭✭✭barbarians

    Great move by the Vikings.

They can still draft their man (either Kalil or Claiborne) at number 4 and they get an extra three picks for moving down only one slot.

Who knows they could still trade down again and acquire even more picks.

Yeah it seems they gave up the 4th rounder too.. fairly hefty price to pay!

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,182 ✭✭✭Justin10

Price is high but they have the 1st later on too and still have a pick in every round with two in the 6th and 7th.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,364 ✭✭✭✭Kylo Ren

    Vikings are laughing right now.
