    Whats a non-runner for Ireland?

Badr can be got in Ireland on a 88cm dish

Whilst that is true of BADR 4 (to a degree, rainfade would be an issue) it is BADR 6 on which Al Jazeera Sport is located.

Try tuning these tps in on an 88cm and let us know how you get on :P

No doubt it will be Badr 6 again - just like ADMC last year.....

ok heres how it works, go to kingofsat, then across the top on left hand side you will see a list of the sats, just hover the mouse, so lets look at 26 east, click on it, now the sat details open, reading from the left look for beam, click on it and it will say sorted by beam, you shuld now have badr 4, move across to Badr4-FSS, thats the beam, now click on it and another page opens, this is a grid and it gives reception reports and dish size, so check southern europe etc. you can do this for all the sats.

you can use lyngsat com as well
    enjoy

    The following info - updated today - and lifted from the 'net;

"Initially will use current cards which is compatible with ADMC receivers till they mange the production of new boxes then these cards will be paired to new boxes. This is good news for those with existing ADMC - Abu Dhabi media boxes & will also mean those using current Al Jazeera JSC cards in other satellite receivers, should also (for now) remain compatible."

Does that mean that it is most likely Badr6?

Is anyone actually surprised that JSC EPL won't be available on 13e??

I'm motorized & I couldn't care if I only get to see Premier League with foreign commentary.

Once I see the game in good PQ I'm more than happy

    To answer your question 'No'

You can see the premier league with foreign commentary from Poland on 13

any one get satellite BG with the diema channel on 23 east

how easy is it to get in Ireland on an 80cm dish , they showed fulham a lot last year at 3pm

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,576 ✭✭✭excollier

Sat BG have gone bust, as far as I know. But a 65cm dish would be plenty for most on that sat.

No, they stopped broadcasting on the 1st of July. Apparently they only had 2000 subscribers. They are available on 39 east and 1 west (39 east is very low to the ground here in the west and the 1 west beam is very weak here)

The same (or mostly the same) channels are broadcast by Bulsat on 39'e

Diema and Novasport is also on 39E using Irdeto....

    80cm dish no problem.

Takes a 90cm - 1m in Donegal to be sure of no rainfade.
Not sure if Bulsat will continue with Premiership on 39e

Fox Sports Italy have now acquired the rights for the Dutch League as well.

Hey all :) Kinda new to this game, sick of paying 70 odd euro a month for sky sports so been recently looking for either a decent dodgy box or a foreign digibox that I could tune in the sky sports frequencies too. Not very tech savvy so anything that wouldn't involve installing a dish would be even better. Cheers for all replies!!
