Not sure if that's an original colour on that W114. Comes closest to 922 Pastellblau I think?

that blue merc pictured was originally grey and is not an original merc colour.

Yeah it doesn't look quite the right colour to me. Hate when folk do that.

Anyway this may nor help as it deals with some original colour but....

........if you have the car Dave and need touch up/repair then bring the filler flap to Vinny Byrne and they'll match it.

That photo looks more like Fiat Azzuro blue.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Only seeing them now, I thought I was subscribed to the thread.

I thought it was an original colour as it was the colour of a Merc my father had back years ago. I want to spray a spare wheel trim that colour to hang up.

Get Vinny Byrnes to scan and match it.

So far I have found pics and eliminated the following codes, 304,334,903,904,906,917,931,934,940,945.

I have yet to find pics of 350,920,922,945,949.

You could go into Consort and try his range of colours - as it's not a body part that needs a 100% match you might find a 90% similar match ?

If you follow the links in the post I made above you'll find all of them except 949.

Thanks Kev. That's where I eliminated the others. There aren't photos of the above colours and the colour chart is too hard to match with.

I emailed him a few days ago and he thinks it is not the original colour. I have emailed him again asking him to send me a pic of the chassis number which should show the code.

Just get it scanned? It'll be a perfect match.

I don't have a decent photo or piece of the car to get scanned. All I have is the pics on my pc.
