Shane Clarke is some striker :)
The year himself and Tierney played together for Wembley Rovers was unbelievable. Hope the two of them keep doing well for Limerick.

They have been doing reasonalby well so far. 6th place with 10 points at the moment. Might try and get along to that game on Friday night. Anyone know how much they charge for admittance to a home game, adult?

12 for a seat in the stand, and 10 for a position on the grassy....eh...terrace.

Didn't know the stand was seated. Last time I was there it was cold concrete steps and a rusty roof.

It still has those charming features, but has shiny blue seats also.

Burger van available, as well as shop run by supporters' club - cup of tea 1 euro. If you happen to be the kind of guy who goes to a cafe every second Friday night and drinks 8 or 9 cups of tea over a 2 hour period, going to a game might actually save you money.

Up to joint 4th with Shelbourne, 2 points off a playoff spot. We're winning without playing particularly well it has to be said.

    Huge test next week.

Exactly! Another experienced head was needed for the squad too.

A solid start to the season, and now this. Roll on promotion! :D

Didnt see his how good he is when out the wing with Fairview, has had a good start to the season in all fairness to him.

Boland only played for 10 mins (came on as a sub) due to getting a knock in the back but you could see in that time the difference in quality is unreal, simple basic stuff done with ease. His injury is not bad and should be ok now.

    Next home game.

v Mervue. Friday 7.45pm. Jackman Park.

Cracking stuff, even allowing for Mervue's league position. The team is really progressing nicely this season.

2 points clear in 3rd (playoff spot) early days yet but certainly looking good. Derry away next friday so a point would be fantastic, but their 1st and flying.

NEXT HOME GAME: TUESDAY 18TH MAY. 7.45PM.

V WATERFORD UNITED. MUNSTER SENIOR CUP SEMI FINAL.

Is it first place is an automatic promotion spot, then 2nd and 3rd place have a playoff for the last promotion spot? Im not sure how it works, they seem to change the system every season!
