70 from Aston Quay unless it has changed.

37/39/39a, operate from Baggot Street, stop on Aston Quay just before Ha'penny Bridge. 39a probably best as most direct to Blanchardstown Centre via Navan Road and N3 bypass, also most frequent.
70 from Aston Quay unless it has changed.

Has changed, doesn't serve shopping centre.

I used to avoid the 37 because you were guaranteed to meet a few "characters" and came off covered in cigarette ash. Does the 38(a) still go up to Lady's Well?
    dublinbus.ie is useless!

Thanks. Does any of those buses drop off right outside the shopping centre or have you to walk to it from the stop?

39a definitely brings you right to the door, not sure about the others!

Right on the road outside with only a short walk to the North-west entrance. 39/39a on one side of the road, 37 on the other side.

Not massively familiar with the area but DB website says 38/38a go through Castlecurragh and up Ladyswell road by the church/national school. If you go to the timetable page on the DB site and click the "View on map" button it'll give you the stops the routes make.

    thanks. 39a it is.

how much is it from the city out per person for a daily return?

You can't get return tickets - fare would be €2.65 per person each way, €2.40 if you use a Leap card

(Alternatively a 1 day rambler ticket from Dublin Bus head office on O'Connell street or most newsagents would cover outward and return journey and any other bus journey, but would be €6.50 each, so slightly more expensive than paying with cash)

Yes 38 still goes through Ladyswell to Damastown Industrial Estate.

39/39a via the By-Pass (gets to Blacharstown in 30/45mins from Blackhall Place)

70 from Aston Quay unless it has changed.

Hasn't gone via Blanchardstown in nearly two years now! (thank Christ!)

39a is the bus to get.

39 puts on an extra 15 or so minutes going via blanchardstown village and coolmine

37 puts on an 20 minutes or so on serving castleknock and laurel lodge

70 does not go near the centre

39a uses the bypass and gets you there quickest
