Watched the second Bowe try again there. He really did get rather fortunate. The kick was completely the wrong option and if that had gone into touch, Kearney should have given him an earful as he was clean through The lad just can't do any wrong right now; whatever he touches turns to gold!

Any figure on the amount of irish supporters in the crowd? Did not seem like a lot.

That is a great picture of Healy's tackle on Clerc. Did Trimble hit him early on as well? i remember he hit somebody who stayed down. Was a nice marker for the first half.

Shame about the second half, that drift defence coming back was maddening. Was it tiredness or tactics?

Cant wait for the scotland game now.

Brian moore called that at the time. He got lucky with three bounces too.

Dont know if this has bee mentioned before but I cant read 80+ pages

Did anyone think this was a tip tackle/clearout by Rougerie (looks like it was D'Arcy)
Worthy of a mention to citing panel maybe?

it was in the build up for French first penalty

Apologies for dodgy picture (taken from TV tonight)

Seen it at the time and thought it was a spear but I seen it during a repley and Darcy was holding on to another player throughout and wasnt dropped. Rougerie just lifted his legs and then brought them back down. Nothing in it.

Looked worse than it was from the camera angle, I think. Saw it at the time and wasn't happy.

Also, Sean Sherlock may not like that image. Just FYI.

Obviously thats what the penalty was for; Not releasing in the tackle!!

Rougeries hair is all wrong though; he needs less curls and his chin is way bigger than that.

    Never - posted that earlier!

Ireland were leading 3-13 in Paris at half time in 1998 and lost 18-16

EDIT : this was for irishbucfan : "Have we ever been in the lead in Paris at half time in the 6 Nations? Don't think so" about the info given by rebel girl 15

That was 5 nation's though so doesn't technically count but still good to know!
