    A child always knows deep down inside. It's a big scam you see. They lead their parents to believe that they (the child) think that Santa has an infinite source of money/presents. Thus they can ask for ridiculous presents from "Santa".

    In their effort to keep their child happy on the 25th, a lot of parents will go out of their way to find money. Eventually they get tired or the child feels guilty. Which ever happens first.
