Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Ok, so I was going to start a thread, but then I remembered this little guy :)

    I really need to keep up on my drawing, for practise and I might even use some of the stuff I do now for college and stuffs...

    So, I have this idea, like DO's photoshop thread, if you post on this, or maybe PM me (so it doesn't disrupt the amazingly talented posts here) something you'd like drawn, anything at all (that isn't ridiculously hard or impossible) and I'll do it for you and post a photo up here :)

    Just to note, I'm nowhere near as good as most of the other artists of C&H, I just need the practice and this will motivate me :D

    Yeah, this post is alot longer than I expected, so I'm going to stop rambling nnnnnnnnnnow.

    A forest/woods at nighttime, with the impression that its windy. Preferably with a fox or a few badgers running around.

    Random I know, for some reason it was always what I tried to draw in national school when it was random drawing time. I could never do it. GO! :D

    Squirrel Face, really cool painting. I can see why you're doing animation in college, it looks kinda Tim Burton-y to me.

    I thought I'd throw up a poem or two for the hell of it.

    The Band

    There are so many things I love about it
    It’s hard to tell what the reason is
    Hard to tell where the very centre is.

    And even though you can’t see it
    There’s symmetry between us,

    We don’t stand in formation, ever

    The sun did shine that day, you know.
    It doesn't happen often.
    Even in the endless summers we dream
    The sun is just a distant memory, unseen.

    And it appeared in its everlasting glory for one of us.

    We waited, we prayed, we hoped. We dream.
    That we'd wake up again in a moment in time...
    And remain there, as timelessness seizes the day
    So we would never fade to memory.

    Wake up and realise memories are deceptive
    Run, your hopes aren't worth staying for
    Hide, your hopes won't find you here
    Remain in the shadows, let go of your
    memory

    I don't remember why I would...
    (and July finally came)
    Wait all this time for you
    (and it went to take away)
    All that I know is wrong
    (all that imprisoned me)
    Leave it behind, leave it behind
    (and now I finally see)


    all I hoped for is gone

    thirty first July, I stopped waiting.
    Then the sun started shining.

    This one is the second attempt at writing July, which I'm sure will be the hardest one. Well I've actually got no ideas for September...
