I really envy you watching it for the first time, OP! If there were 2 films i could watch again for the first time it would be this and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas but you definitely need to be ****-faced for that one...

"We shall buy this place, and we'll install a f*cking jukebox in here!"

Great film, the final scene never fails to encourage me to 'get something in my eye'

If you haven't watched it by now, leave it. Stick to your Keanu Reaves movies!

Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.

Always entertaining, sometimes awesome. He must have watched it all by now......

I mean to have you, even if it must be burglary.

Must watch that again, to see if it has stood the test of time.

Well worth a look, I say.

I don't advise a haircut, man. All hairdressers are in the employment of the government. Hair are your aerials. They pick up signals from the cosmos and transmit them directly into the brain. This is the reason bald-headed men are uptight.

Freeze-frame on the telegram 'I' receives in the cottage, read the name on it - subject to some debate but it seems to read Peter Marwood...

Here's a question for the fan-boys: what date does the film take place on? (okay it's over a few days, but what is the opening day?)
