Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I think there is to much conjecture and theories in this thread.

    You have probably come up with the 'quickest' way for Eileen to get an actual result to be fair.

    If female it's possible that your editor has never witnessed a 60 second finish as a man finishing that quick would not be too highly thought of performance wise.

    As your target audience is presumably women it may be prudent to allow your male character to last longer at least to seem more desirable to your reader. that may be what your editor is thinking.

However, is he on speaker phone or what? I think he's probably need concurrent testicular massage to shoot that soon.

    Yes, I think at least 80% of the readers will be female. But it's one thing to be annoyed with a fast finisher in real life. You don't necessarily want to read through pages of grunting if it's not necessary.

    Have a stop watch, you start when he does. :D

    As for the book. It might make for better reading if there is a bit of mental build up to the action, then about 90secs of high intensity.

    Maybe your editor has a point though. I mean, whether it's physically possible or not, the fact that she expressed scepticism means that your readers are likely to as well. Unless you're going to add a footnote, people will just assume that you're wrong.

    Throbbing manhood will get me sacked. This editor is very big into what is physically possible, and manhoods don't actually throb (not unless you hit them with a hammer or something). And we won't even discuss the long list of things that women's body parts don't do.
