    Hi there
Since I purchased my Fifa 12 I keep getting EAS FC ERROR.
I tried everything to fix it but still have EAS FC Error.
    I tried to:
    01. Format and Reset my PS3
    02. Easy Network Connection
    03. Custom Network Connection - setting up static IP and DMZ
    04. Opening Ports for Fifa12
    05. Disabling Firewall on the Router
    06. Clearing Cache on PS3 browser
    07. Disabling and Enabling UPnP
    08. Couldn't find option for Online Game Mode to Enable it on my router
    09. And some other things that I can't remember now

Any one here have same issue or maybe had it before and fixed it or is it on the EA side?
    Thanks

    My net info:
UPC, router Cisco EPC 2425, Nat type 2

    OK
I managed to fix the problem. It was my router Cisco EPC2425.
    What to do:
    01. http://192.168.100.1/GatewayMode.asp
    02. User and Password have to be empty and then Log In
    03. Change Gateway Mode from Router to Bridge
    "Setup
Basic Settings - Select Gateway Mode - Router/Bridge
This page allow you to select Gateway mode - Router/Bridge. And if you want the change to take effect, please restart your cable modem."
    04. Press button "Click here to restart your modem" - Make sure PS3 is OFF
    05. No more EAS FC ERROR

Took me a while to fix it but now is working 100%

If you have the UPC phone service, putting your router into bridge mode stops the phone from working...I think.

I don't have a phone service from UPC so I wouldn't know. But the main thing is that I have no more EAS FC ERRORS.

    Hello,

Having the same Problem as you guys, same router etc,
I've enable "Bridge Mode" but now my PS3 cannot obtain an IP address.

Is there anything else i need to enable in settings?

I've tried over wireless and wired

I'm not the most Tech Savoy :D..so any help lads would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

Go to: 192.168.100.1 - user and pass are blank.
Chose Access Control and add Mac address to the access list (make sure that access restriction is disabled) of your PS3 then reboot ur router.
Use wireless conection setup for ur PS3.
If u r using phone with wireless connection also add Mac address of ur smartphone there.

I have the same issue and am also with UPC. But what does it actually mean? The error message is annoying but I'm having no problems connecting to the EA servers for H2H and Clubs games. What am I missing out on because of this error?

try playing Ultimate Team game mode. You will be disconnected after every game and wont be avoided any game coins regardless of win or loss! this is what is happening with me all the time

Does anyone know if the disconnect problem affects only the Cisco EPC 2425 with UPC? If I upgrade to 50mb broadband and got the Thomson modem (I think), does anyone know if the same problem exists with that?
    Thanks.

Can someone who has got this problem do me a favour and tell me if they're able to play Clubs? My PS3 crashes when I enter the Clubs lobby and I'm wondering if it's the same issue (as I have the EAS FC problem as well).

When I done this my internet stopped working and I had to reset my modem to factory setting via the hidden button on the back.

I reset my modem to factory setting via holdaing down the secret button on the back for 10 seconds, I then plugged my modem into my ps3 via LAN cable.
I'm not sure which thing I did affected tea EAS FC ERROR from being fixed but hey it's fixed :)
