Just use 1/2 or 1/4 of the original cotton wool type that comes in the cartridge of the original old type ego

Cotton may burn, do not inhale it (my personal advice).
Wick is made of non-combustible materials (should be). Joye and most others manufactures use low quality materials!
Please look at this tests

Material used in clearomizer is just exelent (ceramic yarn).
Look at this one about 2:30min (sorry is in Polish) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYtfe34Z2lI

My 3 weeks old wick looks like that  (orginal Joye eGo-T atomizer):

So I taked brand new Clearomizer, few simple steps and wick is new :D

I would check the battery first. For instance , genuine Joye eGo-T batteries are 3.3 v ...fully charged or nearly flat... voltage regulator ON BOARD to maintain a constant voltage level....

    - This thing will last forever :)
Just keep replacing coil and wick
-- U could change resistance of the coil from LR to HR ( depends of # turns of wire u make and distance between them ).

Here is the A2-T version :

The 18650 battery is probably the one that lasts the longest so a mod that takes it is probably what to go for. Silver Bullet, Omega & Megalodon to name but a few.

I have the Silver Bullet & Megalodon and would recommend both but in terms of size the 'Don' is ideal as it's barely big enough to hold the battery so is a nice compact size. None of these devices will take an eGo atty without an adapter so theres is probably an 18650 mod out there designed for them I haven't kept up to date though.

An 18650 should last a couple of days depending on usage. Different for everyopne so it's worth checking out well beforehand to see how many you will need but 3 should be plenty (or 4/5 if like me you over compensate just in case because it's worth it to stay off the ciggies).

Cool thanks loads, the 'Don' looks perfect, now takes ego attys and its not too expensive, liking the silver bullet too.... gonna get 4/5 batts (can never be too prepared :))

1st post in here and im looking for help
iv been useing a real ego-t with a standard 650mAh battery for the last 3 weeks

lately it takes more effort when inhaleing to get the same hit/vapor cloud.
is this how u know an atty is on its way out ?

iv never got much of a taste off any of the juces iv used and was thinking about geting a LR atty ?

can anyone point me out a good atty to get ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 488 ✭✭theblueirish

It could be a sign that your atty is on its way out or maybe it might just need a bit of cleaning.

You could try boiling it for about 5 minutes, sometimes i find this helps.

Where are you buying your juices from and what flavour are they?

I find Menthol gives me the best hit and taste but this can vary from vendor to vendor.

Here is the handy utility eJuice Mixture Calculator ,
which helps u to create very own juices.

    1) Just get some base liquid ( with the maximum Strength- 38mg/ml
    http://www.inaweraflavours.com/en/10-liquid-nicotine-pg-based
    2 ) PG
    http://www.inaweraflavours.com/en/do-it-yourself/274-propilene-glycol-995-100-ml.html
    3) VG
    http://www.inaweraflavours.com/en/do-it-yourself/275-propilene-glycol-995-100-ml.html
    4) flavours
    http://www.inaweraflavours.com/en/7-e-flavours
    5) empty bottles
    http://www.inaweraflavours.com/en/do-it-yourself/277-propilene-glycol-995-100-ml.html

Add some PG and VG to base liquid ( to get desired strength ;Throat HIT or more vapor )
, few drops of flavour ( normally 1 drop to one mil of juice)
I hope this guide saves u tones of money :)

Shame there's not an option to add a "herbal" ingredient to that so I could give up ALL smoking ;)

That is fantastic though and hopefully a sign of how liquids will be put together and sold in the near future. Great post.

    Hi folks,

What would be the best model for me as far as low maintenance, reliability and capacity?

I did have a look through the thread but there seems to be a few conflicting views on original models versus generic. To cut a long story short - I'm confused!

    Cheers!

Vapourstore.ie has a long standing one from the us forums - ecf10 for 10% discount. I think it will still work. Has done every time I've ordered.

Think you have to buy the LR attys seperate. I would also recommend the B type atty as I have had better performance with it and it holds more liquid.

    Thanks guys,

Just ordered an eGo-T XL and a eGo-T 650 Starter Kit for the Father in law, plus a couple of bottles of RY4.

Really looking forward to using it - thanks for the advice!

Having tried all the Heavens-Gifts HG juices I ordered - in summary they taste and smell great but don't produce enough vape or throat hit, might be for some people but not for me, sticking with the Joye liquid for now.

Hi all, about to take the plunge and "upgrade" from my Tecc Tornado.

The Omega really takes my fancy at the moment as it seems to offer so much more battery longevity than what I have.

I am just not clear on how compatible it is with the tank system that all you young trendy types are talkin about! I know its set up for a 510 atomiser but will be obsolete sooner rather than later?

Well the eGo-T and eGo Mega attys won't fit but you can fit them with an adapter of some kind. I see one on the Omega site - http://www.ivapour-elixir.co.uk/acccessories/batteries/510-battery-ego-atomiser.html - which is out of stock but you can combine a 510-901 with a 901-510 to do something similar too.

Sounds like the first will solve my issues if/when I try out the tank. At least it shows the Omega wont become obsolete the moment I shell out about £110 sterling plus postage!

Thanks for the reply mewso. have you tried the Omega btw? I see a few posters using the Provari but (personally) I cant get past its less than appealing looks!
