    30th June:
    21:00 - TV3 - Mullholland Drive
    00:00 - BBC2 - Requiem for a Dream

Two of the great modern films make for one exciting double bill tonight.
Mullholland Drive being wonderful David Lynch mind trip.
Requiem for a Dream being the finest drug drama, from the great Darren Aronofsky. If anyone has yet to see / hear of it yet, I recommend watching this with no preconceptions. Anyone who has MAY not want to watch again.

*insert shock here* Great week for TV if you have digital - some terrific films showing:

Sunday - Garden State / Secretary - Film Four from 9 - the former being one of my all time favourites. Two quirky little numbers.

Monday - Hidden (Caché) - Sky Movies Indie (7 pm) - one of the finest European films of the last few years
Persona - Film Four - 2.25 AM (ooh.. late) - Must check this out - some Ingmar Bergman for all of you all

Tuesday - I Heart Huckabees / 5 X 2 - Film Four from 9 - the former: existential slapstick comedy. The latter: bizarre French relationship drama.

Wendesday - Brick / The Death of Mr Lazeracu - Film Four from 9 - Brick being my favourite of last year, TDOFL being a difficult but rewarding watch that litereally does with it says on the tin.

All week - Slither - Sky Movies Premiere - hilariously dark B Movie satire. Pretty demented, hugely entertaining.

Lots of terrific films in there, well worth watching all of them. One or two I havent seen myself, so looking foward to them. You very rarely get a TV line up this good, so check some of them out! Probably wont all be for you, but everyones bound to find something worthwhile in there.

    Purple Rose of Cairo - tonight - 9.30PM - Channel 6
Woody Allen's most underrated masterpiece, and possibly my favourite of his fine body of work. A glorious ballad to the power of cinema.
