Match # 5: Santo vs El Hijo del Santo: Father vs Son - Mask vs Mask – “Mascara contra Mascara”

    22581_el_santo.jpg

    VS

    512805608_0f77973743.jpg

    Background:
Thyis match stems from the scandalous actions of ElHijo del Santo who has turned on his father and joined his mortal enemies “Los Rudos.” Mexican society has been gripped by this feud and the Mexican people have reacted with pure anger and shock at the heinous act of the younger Santo and his new compadres. The only way to settle this feud is to fight for the right to own the cherished Mask of the Saint in a 2/3 falls grudge match to end all grudge matches.

    The Match:
El Hijo del Santo wears a black mask to teh ring to characterise his new evil persona. The elder Santo has the hopes and dreams of the Mexican nation on his shoulder s in this bitter family feud. The father and son battle over 3 closely fought falls. On numerous occasions it appears the younger man has won the day, but eventually it is the elder, more experienced Santo who prevails sparking a three day national holiday in Mexico and the drinking of several million gallons of tequila. The younger son is forced to unmask in the middle of the ring and is forced to run to the backstage area covering his face in the ultimate shame for a Mexican wrestler. Not since The Field has there been a worse row between father and son
    ninioviva.gif

Winner: El Santo Snr in 21.34

Why this was such an amazing idea:
There is no bigger hypothetical match in Mexican wrestling history. Think Steve Austin vs Hogan times 100 and if they were related. Families baytin' each other is always a bit of craic too.
Match #6: NWA World Tag Team Titles

Road Warriors (c) vs The Dudley Boyz

    The%20Road%20Warriors.jpg

    VS

    The-dudley-boyz.jpg

Background. The dominant Road Warriors who have had it all their own way in the NWA for far too long have been rattled by the arrival of the Dudley Boyz. The Dudz have been tormenting the Wariors with mind games the last few weeks, sneak attacking them, destroying their dressing room and getting in their heads. As of yet the Road Warriors have not been able to get their hands on the wiley half brothers. At International Summit the two greatest teams of all time will clash to see who is the greatest of them all!

    Match:
The match will be a pure slobberknocker of immense proportions. Both teams will go to any lengths to prove their greatness for once and for all. They brawl all over the ringside area and tables and other items of assorted furniture are destroyed in the carnage. When the dust settles on this apocalyptic battle, it is the Road Warriors who stand tall and can now call them the all time greats. Post match the teams shake hands and embrace in recognition of the lengths to which they have pushed each other. Happy days.

Winners: STILL NWA Tag Team Champions - The Road Warriors in 23.34

Why this was such an amazing idea:
Who wouldn't want to see the two greatest teama ever slug it out. No brainer really.
MAIN EVENT: NWA World Heavyweight Title

Shawn Michaels vs “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase

    Shawn_Michaels.jpg

    VS

    ted-dibiase.jpg

Background: HBK the World Champion has been tormented in recent weeks by the No. 1 Contender The Million Dollar Man. Dibiase has delved in to HBK’s past and has tempted away his tag partner and best friend Marty Jannetty as well as his valet Sherri Martel. DiBiase has held a grudge against HBK since the early 90’s when Michaels secured the services of Sherri from under his nose. As DiBiase says, revenge is a dish best served cold and tonight he aims to exact it fully by taking Shawn’s NWA Title. In a further twist, DiBiase has greased the palms of the corrupt NWA Board and secured Jannetty as the special referee. On the last TV show, Michaels nearly decapitated Jannety by superkicking him in sheer frustration, leaving him in a dire situation at the PPV, with the odds firmly stacked against him both in and out of the ring.

    MartyJannetty_display_image.jpg?1291768029

    The Match:

The match is an epic that would grace any PPV in any era. HBK is frustrated time and time again by Jannetty as he refuses to count when he gets a pinfall on DiBiase and generally acting the maggot in true heel fashion. At one stage DiBiase is knocked fully unconscious and Jannetty and HBK are left alone in the ring, the former best friends left face to face. Jannetty spits in the face of Michaels, only for him to retort with Sweet Chin music knocking him clean out!

    0.jpg

Sherri then makes her way into the ring to buy her man some time – she appears to be winning HBK over with her feminine wiles, before he also takes her out with Sweet Chin Music to the approval of the NWA faithful!!!

As this is going on DiBiase hits HBK with a low blow from behind and takes him out with the NWA World Title belt. He drags Jannetty into the ring and covers Michaels, getting the three count by counting with the hand of the unconscious Jannetty. The crowd fills the ring with litter and howls their anger and disappointment as the PPV fades to black with a new Champion in the dodgiest of circumstances possible!

    ted_display_image.jpg?1294413948

Winner: and NEW NWA Champion - The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase!!! in 31.35

    shocked_face.jpg

Why this was such an amazing idea:
Firstly we have two of the biggest stars in wrestling history, a worthy main event for any show. They have legit history - I always found it a bit stupid that a heel like Ted wouldn't object to Sherri leaving him for HBK all thsoe years ago - so him holding the grudge all this time makes sense. Throwing in Jannetty makes the feud all the better - I liked the idea of DiBiase reminding Jannetty how HBK screwed him over and Jannetty getting the ultimate revenge on him by helping him lose the title. I think the finish would surprise a lot of people - the face always getting the win gets a bit old after a while so I thought a Dibiase win would put the cat amongst the pigeons!

Welcome to BWA King of the Ring!
    11+King+of+the+Ring+LOGO.jpg

As the Pyro's go off JR and Jay Leno welcome us to BWA: King of the Ring, a night that Jay Leno says will might see everything we know about the BWA change. They then begin by listing off tonights card in the sold out 2nd home for the BWA in recent months Madison Square Garden.
    madison-square-garden-1.jpg
    live from Madison Square Garden

However Leno says that they couldent do justice to the card and in doing so brings up who he says is the one person who could, the winner of the PPV Promo competition.
A competition is run before each PPV on BWA.com in which fans make promo videos for the PPV, one of which will win their creater front row tickets to the PPV

Micheal Cole is standing at ringside by the fans and talks to the competition winner, a young man who looks about 13 and is wearing a Waterford Hurling jersey with Ger C on the back (he also seems to have smuggled a hurley and a pint of guinness into the arena), he is also donning a cape and introduces himself as "The Flah", saying "The Flah came here all the way from Ireland tonight and is the BWA's biggest fan, so im o so proud to be here tonight and introduce my video...

When we return the commentaters take back over and after briefly saying how they personally think Cash's songs are a lil overused in such promo's recently he is still a legend the topic is quickly changed with Leno talking up his friend Bobby Lashley, saying he will make Sid Vicious pay for his actions tonight. JR quickly changes the subject again however this time to tonights opening match, as The Junkyard Dog comes out.

JYD is without his sponsor tonigh and explains thats because what he has to do tonight is personal. Someone he says has dragged up his past and tonight he has some demons to excorsize but first he demands that his opponent get out here and reveal his true identity. He says that it doesent matter who is behind the mask cos he is still going to whip his ass either way but he says this guy obviously wanted his antension and now he's damn sure got it. so come out and face me.

with that his opponents music hits and Black Tiger makes his way down to the ring. he gets right up infront of the JYD striking a pose like a super hero as he enters the ring all the while JYD is repeating "take your mask off, take your mask off". Black tiger then extends his hand to his opponent who looks set to slap it away only for it to be quickly retracted as Black Tiger mimics playing a trupet much to the crowds ammusesment. JYD however doesent see the funny side in this and pulls back his right arm looking to deliver a big right hand. He stops however as Black tiger holds up a finger asking for a moment before motioning that he is going to demask himself. This seems to please the now enraged JYD who relaxes his guard and like the crowd awaits the reveal.

Black Tiger milks it for all its worth a numer of times motioning that he is about to pull the mask off, as he does the camera pans around to show the anticipation on the faces of the crowd. Then in a moment reminiscent of the night this all started in the BWA for the Junkyard Dog, the camera suddenly focusses on a man in the crowd in the full Black Tiger costume standing in the front row. This is almost glossed over though as we are then brought straight back to the action in the ring where JYD seems to have finally lost patience with his opponent and once again has his arm cocked as he shouts "Do it now!"

Finaly the mask is pulled off and cast aside, but whats underneath is even more baffing to the JYD, as his opponent is stil masked however he now seems to be portraying the more famous Tiger Mask. Before The JYD knows what happening though he has been attacked and the bell has sounded, this match has begun!

Black Tiger Mask vs Junkyard dog

JYD is caught by a big kick with his opponent Jumping into his chest taking him out of the game early on. That is followed up by a spin kick and Ritter is realling. The masked man doesent give him any restbite though and immediatly hits a big tiger suplex leaving him a heap collapsed on the ropes. Tiger mask now relaxes and begins to taunt JYD causing the ref and crowd to really get on his case. Then as Ritter opens his eyes and try and get to his feet he see's the black Tiger figure in the crowd, who now steps up over the barricade and seems intent on heading towards the ring and the JYD. This makes him quickly get to his feet but with his back turned to his in ring opponent and his mind focussed on this new figure he is easy pickings for Tiger Mask, and after he turns into a Tiger Driver this one is over, atleast as a contest that is.

    Winner: Black Tiger Mask

After the bell Black Tiger gets into the Ring beside Tiger mask and the two continue the beatdown on Ritter who it seems is paying for his sins and then some as he is the victom of a Black Tiger Bomb (Sitout crucifix powerbomb).

As we head to the backstage area the camera focusses on JR holding aloft the Black Tiger Mask worn by Tiger Mask before this match got underway.
    5182910270_e9eeb36768.jpg

Backstage Segment: We are then brought to a sit down interview with the BWA world heavyweight champion, the grand Rikidozan, among his many jibes at Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat he states via translator that he's had much bigger and badder foes than you come after him including one particular occasion when he recalls being stabbed with a urine-soaked blade by yakuza and merly throwing the perp out of the club he was in before continuing to party, all the while refusing to seek medical help. It seems the main point of his yarns however harps back to a point he has tried to make on numerous occasions, that he think Steamboat is not a worthy challenge of him and he says he will prove that and prove his dominance as the true King of the BWA no matter what anyone says by destroying him in the main event.

As we return to the ring we see the ring and entrance way is now littered with tables, ladders and chairs o my! "it's that time JR" says Leno, "time for the best of 5 series finale, TLC style"

first out are The Briscoes who set up two charis in the ring and grab a mic before addressing their PPV opponents directly. They say that last week on Raw they were honestly impressed by the lengths Rocco Rock & Johnny Grunge were willing to go to just for the opportunity to compete here tonight in the best of 5 series finale. They do however question if Grunge wll be in any fit state to compete after his fall on Raw before moving onto their main gripe. They say that ever since The Public Enemy's debut they have been parading around calling themselves the BWA tag team champions, but they are not that!

They remind everyone that their title defeat was declared the first in the best of 5 series and say that since they were the champs before the series began only after it is concluded should new champions be crowned. They call The Public Enemy's run as champs null & void, saying the last time they will get to wear that gold will be right now as they demand they make their way down to the ring if they are even able to compete tonight. Moments later The Public Enemy's iconic theme tune plays much to the crowds amusement as the duo emerge, Grunge clearly heavily taped up and make their way down to the ring with a surprising spring in their steps. "By gawd, their here Leno, and they came to compete" yells JR as they get into the ring and face off against their opponents who are now no longer seated.

Best of 5 series finale for the Tag team titles: TLC Match: Jay & Mark Briscoe vs The Public Enemy

It actually takes quite a while for a table ladder or chair to be used in this match but once they are introduced it seems to be non stop carnage. The two chairs the briscoes had been earlier sat on are the first to be used after Jay Briscoe is tossed to the outside while the public enemy take control. Jay grabs both of them and brings them back into the ring as he returns swinging them. moments later Rock & Grunge are layed out the first of many shifts of momentum takes place. The commentators suggest The Briscoes are then wise by not going straight for the gold when they have the upper hand, they say we have seen enough of TLC matches and The Public Enemy to know that the challengers wouldnt relinquish their hold on the titles so easily.

The Briscoes instead continue to beat down on their opponents, delivering a number of chair shots to go with some high elevated double hip tosses. A table is then set up in the center of the ring and after mimicing eenie meenie minee moe the brothers choose Johnny Grunge and combine to deliver their Redneck Boogie (Crucifix powerbomb (Mark) / Neckbreaker (Jay) combination) through the table in a similar fashion to a 3D. Grunge looks to be completely out of it but is able to roll to the outside as the commentaters remind everyone about the fall he endured from a steel cage last monday night while seemingly showing genuine concern for his well being considering his current situation. It seems his brother will be joining him in such a predicament shortly though as Jay repeatidly stamps on his head before grabbing him and tossing him to his brother who sets him for what looks like it could be powerbomb and potentially another bit o Redneck Boogie from the brothers. Instead however Rocco Rock reverses the attempted move and flips Mark Briscoe over his head sending him crashing through the table in his place. It has now atleast temporarily been turned into a 1 on 1 matchup as the downed Briscoe brother also rolls to the outside.

Rock is now on a roll (pun intended) after sending Mark through the wood and goes straight at Jay with a series of big rights. After a big kneestrike Jay is left flat on his back and Rocco heads to the outside and grabs a Ladder and brings it back into the ring. He sets it up in the centre of the ring and slowly begins to ascend it. Jay has had a chance to get back to his feet though and grabs his leg pulling back down as the two begin to go at it again. Rocco tosses Jay into the ropes however and as he return given him a big hip toss into the ladder leaving him crying out in pain. On the outside the other two combatants are getting back to their feet and also quickly begin to brawl with each other a brawl that leads to them falling over the barricade as they continue to fight now in the crowd. As they stumble over the barricade Johnny Grunge accidently takes out the BWA no.1 fan causing him to spill his guinness all over the floor. This is a fact taken advantage of by Grunge who grabs the empty pint glass and smashes it across Mark Briscoes skull busting him open.

Back in the ring it looks like The Public Enemy have this in control as Rocco Rock has continued to use the ladder as a weapon against Jay and has left him a broken mess in the corner. He is once again joined by his tag partner who he high fives before setting up the ladder in the center of the ring. with the crowd going wild they slowly ascend it both reaching the top at the same time, the camera then focusses in on Rocco Rock's face as he shows his pleasure with w big smile at their current situation. That smile is suddenly dropped though as his partner also drops but this time from the top of the ladder after a crashing blow to the back of hiis head by a foreign object. Mark Briscoe is back in the ring and seemingly is now carrying the Flah's hurley,he now climbs the ladder as Rock scrambles to pull down the belts. He isnt quick enough and after a quick shot to his stommach he is prone for what he recieves next a crack straight across his forhead from the hurl sending him to the mat. Mark then reaches up and pulls down the title belts as The BWA crowd show their appreciation for the exhibition they have just witnessed.

    Winners: The Briscoes
    Briscoe_Brothers_display_image.jpg?1275850495

With carnage everywhere the commentaters try to divert the attension away from the clean up crew by introducing the BWA chairman Bounty Hunter's latest tweet, we are then brought to a backstage segment.

    http://twitter.com/#!/BWABountyHunter
Later my big reveal, now a big announcement, The BWA & CCW have agreed a talent share deal! monday night wars to win, everyone wants a piece

Backstage Segment: The Junkyard Dog can be seen after just arriving back into his dressing room where his sponsor Jerry Lawler is unpacking his bag after arriving to the arena. JYD is ranting about Black Tiger saying he will find out they really are, but as has become customary recently Lawler calms him down (despite saying he should have let him accompany him to ringside), telling him it shouldent be too hard saying "I'ts not like your trying to find out the identity of BWA chairman Bounty Hunter, here look at this" he then proceeds to show him Tiger Masks Wikipedia page while explaining that "Only a few men have ever donned the Tiger mask and only one of those is currently on the BWA roster" after JYD asks who he is told to scroll down the page but the camera's return to rinside as it's time for our 3rd match of the night. Thia does however discount anyone who perhaps could be involved in a talent share deal between the BWA and CCW as just announced by the chairman, but these two seem unaware of that announcement right now.

First King of the Ring Semi-final: Mitsuharu Misawa vs Kenta Kobashi

example of what the majority of this match might be like:

The finish of this match comes about when Misawa has the advantage due to suplexing Kobashi into an exposed turnbuckle (misawa removed the padding earlier) and temporarily taking him out of the game. This is despite the fact that as Leno points out Misawa seems tired before this match even starts, it's now Kobashi who gets worn down though as Misawa starts targetting Kobashis's lower leg and ankle. he repeatidly stamps on it then locks in an ankle lock temporarily before ascending to the 2nd rope and once more stamping down on the ankle. He then locks in a longer ankle lock which he is evidentually forced to break as Kobashi reaches the ropes.

Misawa backs away looking cocky and lets Kobashi try and get to his feet but its clear he can barely support his own wait using one the leg/ankle that Misawa has been working on. His opponent hits him with a number of quick jabs then which again due to his injury Kobashi is not quick enough to avoid. Misawa now openly taunts his former partner offering him a 'free shot' sticking his jaw out for Kobashi to hit, but each time Kobashi would take a step forward to swing Misaw would step out of the way and continue deriding him. Misawa stops though and puts on a serious face saying he will really not move this time .Kobashi expression however seems to read "how dumb is this guy, but ok" as he seems to find a sudden burst of energy and strenght and performs his Burning Lariat sending Misawa crashing to the Mat. looking up at Kobashi he is clearly outraged at this turn of events and when he gets to his feet he charges at Kobashi who has just about regained his compure and footing now seemingly able to put weight on his foot again. Unfortunatley for Misawa Kenta see's him coming and catches him in a hip toss throwing him right into the exposed turnbuckle. Misawa stumbles back into the center of the ring as Kobashi grabs him in an inside cradle pin, 1-2-3 and we have a winner!

    Winner: Kenta Kobashi
    2688805740_40ff60c4f5.jpg

Backstage Segment: Psycho Sid Vicious is interviewed backstage about his actions last week and how Leno file charges against him so as to allow his match with Bobby Lashley to take place tonight. Sid says that he knew that Leno wouldent put his best buddys PPV debut in jepordy, not after what he did on Raw which he describes as nothing compared to what awaits Lashley tonight. He says that he could have crushed Leno that night, he held his fath in the palm of his hand, but that wasnt his MO. He said he was merly getting in the head of Bobby Lashley. He says that Lashley inow has his mind transixed on revenge, and says that he will use his opponents rage against him, claiming that Lashley gets sloppy if he fights angry and that all it will take is one mistake against the might of the master and ruler of the world. Sid then shapes to leave but before he does the interviewer asks him about the role his manager Jenna Jameson will play at ringside tonight. His answer is simple "motivation", as he retorts with a question of his own "who would motivate you more banged up Jay "the Chin" Leno or her?" as he kicks open the dressing room door beside him to reveal JJ getting changed, she gives a cheeky smile before closing the door on the cameraman as we return to the commentaters at ringside and an Irate Leno who goes off on one about Sid after he seems to have been momentarily calmed by the sight of his manager.
    Sid-Vicious1.png

As we return to ringside JR is trying to convince Leno that the JYD was right to attack Misawa tonight he compares the physiqes of both Misaw and the man wearing the Tiger mask earlier tonight and states that they are almost identical but before we can hear if Leno agrees with him or not the self proclaimed "Dark Queen" of the BWA is makes her way out to the ring and the commentators change the topic to talk about the potential rammifications the result of this match could have. They are soon quitened though as Mschif trys to address the audience, I say trys as it's at first like when former BWA draftee used to try to address the crowd as a chorus of boo's stop her from speaking. The crowd are clearly showing they are not in her corner tonight.

When she eventually gets to speak it is the crowd allegiance she actually talks about, saying how she will take great pleasure silencing the crowd tonight, not only ensuring that her former partner or as she calls her lacky Melissa has to quit the BWA tonight but by also making sure that nobody gets to she her and Jenna Jameson celebrate tonight.

"Will she spoil the party for everyone tonight as we go live for the first time on HBO" wonders JR, but he doesent have to wait long to fins out as seconds later Cheerleader Melissa comes out accompanied to the ring by Jenna Jameson who it would appear is pulling double managerial duty tonight.

Quit or Queen match: MsChif vs Cheerleader Mellisa

Melissa starts this one strong but MsChif slowly gains control as it goes on and looks the most likely to get an early victory here and in doing so fulfill her vow and silence the crowd. Perhaps she should have tried to get the win early on infact as she had the perfect opportunity after she hit her Desecrator Scissored DDT on her opponent. Instead however she tries to make an uncharacteristic top rope moonsault a move which backfires terribly as Melissa rolls out of the way at the last moment. MsChif is now down and the momentum shifts into Melissa's corner as Jameson gets the crowd whipped up into a frenzy. MsChif slowley gets to her feet but only just in time for Melissa to deliver an impressive an air raid crash to her opponent. This is a Over the shoulder back to belly piledriver and is enough for Melissa to get the 3 count.

    Winner: Cheerleader Melissa
    cheerleader-melissa.jpg

As Melissa celebrates with her newly aquired BWA womens title, MsChif gets back to her feet and makes her way over to the new champ who at first puts her guard up but then reaches out offering her hand to her former tag partner. The two shake hand much the the crowds surprise but then in a return to form MsChif gives Melissa a swift kick to her midsection before slingshotting herself against the ropes and going for a big spinning backfist. Melissa dodges this though as Jenna Jameson on the outside pulls down the top rope and with the help of a melissa missile dropkick the former champ is sent crashing to the outside where Security restrain her. MsChif is then lead away up the ramp by the same security guards as Jenna gets into the ring and the crowd chant "Na na na na, na na na na, hay hay hayyy, goodbye" at the former champ who as a result of the matches stipulation has had to quit her BWA contract.

Then in a scene that would not have been possible before tonights move to HBO, Jenna says that it's time to celebrate MsChif's removal and the crowning of a new Queen of the BWA by giving the fans what they want. A big crowd cheer is then followed by the tune Killer pussy by Master P as the two women give the BWA & HBO audiences a moment they will never forget. A movie clip of this and the song itself are two of the biggest downloads throughout the following week.

    prensacorazon.com.wp-content.uploads.2009.05.jenna.jpg
Jenna & Melissa "Celebrate" in ring. Only on PPV with HBO & the BWA

Backstage Segment: Harley Race is seen making his way out towards the ring as we are informed that the 2nd KOTR semi final is next. He stops however as he sees Kenta Kobashi who has already qualified for the King of the Ring final, which will decide the new no.1 contender. He squares right up to his asian counterpart before congratulating him. He then invites Kobashi to get a ringside seat to watch him beat Jerry Lawler next, to not only see the man he will face later on tonight, but to see what a real man can do. He then turns to walk off as Kenta enquires "What do you mean 'real man'?" but can be hear to reply while laughing to himself and walking away "An American"

As we return to ringside Leno reminds us all that we dont have to wait too much longer to find out the identity of the BWA chairman bounty hunter but up first we have The King vs The King in The King of the Ring, and with that out comes Jerry Lawler.

Lawler grabs a mic and says that since it seems everyone is cutting a promo before their matches tonight he's decided to get in on the act, because he says he has something to get off his chest. "I'm an arrogant son of a B!tch" (the crowd are teak aback by this as the change to HBO is becoming more and more evident), "i'll admit that, and yes i do have an affinity for the young ladies, and sure walking around calling myself the King and nailing every pretty young thing that tries out for the Divas division can get some fans on my back." (if anything the heel wrestler is getting pops as he speaks now). "So I guess I was an easy target for Harley Race as he tried to get your approval upon his arrival here in the BWA, but he forgot one thing. I May be arrogant but I damn well walk the walk as good as I talk the talk. Ask Superstar Billy Graham, Macho Man Randy Savage or Mr Perfect if you dont believe me, i've beaten them all and won it all, and now you have the balls to continually insult my past to try and get over well big mistake.

"Jerry, Jerry, Jerry" chant breaks out as Lawler having seemingly won over the crowd with his words tells Race to get out here so he can boow down to the real King of professional wrestling, with that his opponent Harley Race emerges.

King of the Ring Semi-final no.2: Harley Race Vs Jerry The King Lawler

Race looks pissed off before this match even begins and from the get go he is on lawler not giving him a moments restbite. It seems Lawler's pre match words have really reiled up his opponent annd after a vicious headbut and a high knee strike Lawler is on the backfoot. He fights back however with a multiple punches of his own and this develops into a real back and forth competition. whenever Race hits a big move like a vertical suplex for example Jerry would fight back and hit his own in return such as the big belly to belly suplex he hits mid way through the contest.

The conclusion comes with Race in the ascendancy after catching Lawler with a Swinging neckbreaker. At this point he climbs the ring ropes and hits a Diving headbutt, however this notably both takes as much out of Race as Lawler and busts Race's head wide open. blood starts to stream down his forhead and into his eyes causing him to temporarily lose his vision a fact that means Lawler is the first to his feet and ready to capitalise. He hits Race with a big piledriver in the center of the ring then he is the one who climbs the turnbuckle in a move the commentators say may also be 'a mistake'. He gets to the top rope and goes for and connects with a diving fist drop, connecting directly with Race's busted open forhead. Then with the crowd behind him in a big match for the first time during his BWA tenure Lawler seems like he is feeding of the atmosphere in the arena as he pulls down the straps of his ring attire and sets Race up for a second Piledriver after which on top of a small puddle of his opponents blood he makes the pin. 1-2-3

    Winner: Jerry Lawler

A celan victory for Lawler who looks overwhelmed by the support of the crowd and while celebrating quickly exits the ring knowing that despite defeating the man he has had personal issues with in recent weeks his work for the night isnt finished yet. Race is left in the ring looking totally dejected and confused as to what has just happened to him. He cannot believe he has lost nor cann he understand how the crowd suddenly seem to like the fact that Lawler defeated him. With blood dripping from his face he cuts a very sorry figure as he makes his way to the back.
    imagesCAV0EE0V_display_image.jpg?1290939001

Backstage segment: The Briscoes are backstage celebrating reclaiming their tag team titles when Jay tells Mark to check what the dirtsheets are saying. A few seconds later and Mark can be seen browsing boards.ie PW and momentarilly can be heard calling to his bro "what was the name of that fellah Micheal Cole introduced with that promo video at the start of the show?" after the answer of "What you mean the flah?" Mark calls his brother over to see what the BWA's no.1 fan had just posted online presumably using his phone.
Hey Gersie, just watched the best tag match ive seen since we bayte tar out of those two klikenny boys at Morrisey's. If your promotion ever gets out of the Parish you should try and sign The Briscoes, the ba$tards might have stolen me hurl but damn can they put on a show.

The two look chuffed reading this but are slightly curious as to who this Gersie is but after a quick post search they conclude that he must be the flah's lover and laugh off the notion of him running a big time promotion.

As we return to ringside, we see Michael Cole emerge from the back and take his seat at the commentary booth, as Leno grabs a mic and gets in the ring for what he calls his turn at being more than just an announcer as he introduces the man who's corner he will be in tonight Bobby Lashley. It is however as he re-introduces his opponents manager to the crowd that we get arguably the 2nd biggest pop of the night (the first being during her appearance earlier) as the crowd show their appreciation for Jenna Jameson and it is her who then introduces the final man in this match "her man" Sid Vicious.

celeb match: Sid Vicious w/Jenna Jameson vs Bobby Lashley w/Jay Leno

The culmination of this one comes as the in ring display turns into a brawl which spreads to the outside of the ring. It is here that Sid's temper gets the best of him and after temporarily incapacitating Lashley with a sidewalk slam on the outside he turns his attension to Leno. Once more Jenna pleads with him not to attack the non-wrestler but Sid ignores her and grabs him by the throat while signalling that Leno is going for a ride curtosy of a chokeslam. He lifts him up but before he can slam him down Lashley strikes him from behind making Sid release his grip and drop the former MMA star's buddy. Leno looks enraged anyway though and goes over to have a discussion with the Ref, JR & Cole assume that he is telling him to get some control here and get them back in the ring.

Moments later as Bobby and Sid exchange punches on the outside, Lashley hits his opponent with a powerfull low blow kick completely taking the wind out of his sails. It was in clear view of everyone and JR is vocally astonished that there has been no DQ called. Leno now begins ordering Lashley around, not like a friend would but like his boss. he gets him to throw Sid back into the ring and tells him to continue the beatdown as he grabs a steel chair from ringside and tosses into the ring. "Why isn't the referee stopping this?" shouts JR. Lashley picks it up and under orders from Leno grabs the chair and smashes it across the back of his opponent sending him to the mat. There is still some fight in Sid though and he slowly gets up onto his knees as Leno shouts "Do it again, now!" and with that another chair shot is delivered this time across the side of Sid's head. He inow looks completlely unconcioususs face down into the mat but that does not stop his attacker he continues to follow orders as Leno shouts "again, again, again!" after that Lashley rolls Sid over and places his boot on his chest while the referee counts 1-2-3 and JR continues ranting about how"this has been a damn conspiracy, a set up!"

    winner: Bobby Lashley
    Bobby-Lashley-workout.jpg

JR is once more voicing his oppinion saying "oh no dont tell me she is in on this too" as it is actually Jenna Jameson who raises Lashley's arm as he's declared the winner. Leno is now also in the ring and he has a microphone. He directs his thoughts firstly towards Sid who is lying bloodied propped up on the ring ropes saying "I had hoped to do this in a more dignified manner Sid, but you wouldent allow that, you couldent keep your hands to yourself, and now your paying the price. You must have wonderd why i didnt have Sid's ass carted off to prison after what he did to me on Raw, you all must have wonderd this (now no longer solely talking to Sid). Well you see I'm also here today to announce to this Madison Square Garden audience and the millions watching at home the name of the BWA chairman Bounty Hunter, and that name is.... Jay Leno!"

"That's rights it's me Sid. You crossed the boss, big mistake. Now you know why i didnt want you wrotting away wasting your BWA contract in a prison cell, cos im going to create your own person hell right here for you!" He then turns to the announcers and says "Micheal Cole your back on the announce team" before turning and catching Jenna Jameson in a liplock. the two then exit the ring together and followed by Lashley make their way up the ramp.

Camera's follow them as they make their way straight to the car park Leno can be overheard telling Jameson to hurry up, saying he wants to catch the rest of the show from the hotel room as he gets into the car then looking back and smiling to the camera smiling as he says "B!tch get your ass over here"(pictured below) before speeding off into the night.

    BH announcement: Jay Leno!
    jay-leno-01-af.jpg

After at first going along with the crowd reaction and showing their surprise at Leno's reveal, JR composes himself and says that he enjoyed his time with Leno on the announce team and with the knowledge that he has always been in charge anyway says he is confident that things should remain all good despite this shock for the BWA audience. Cole suggests JR is meerly sucking up to the boss as he head to a backstage segment and it seems their heel/face announce team dynamic is back to normal.

Backstage segment: Todd Grisham is gauging reaction to Leno's big announcement, speaking to Harley Race and then Jerry Lawler (seperatley of course). Race is in a fowl mood and refuses to be interiewed, while Lawler is actually slightly surprised by the question. He says that even when we didnt know Bounty Hunter's identity we knew he had been at the helm of the BWA for many years and turned it into the global brand that it is today. All we found out today he's a well known face, with a cool car and hot ass girl on his arm aswell as a Prime time talk show that can further promote the great wrestlers like me in the BWA. He says he simply cannot imagine why anyone wouldent want such a man leading their promotion. He then excuses himself though saying he has a King of The Ring crown to prepare to win.

When we return Jushin liger is already making his way down to the ring before his intercontinental title defense. Which JR says will hopefully not any outside interference, tables, ladders, chairs, hurleys or bloodshed. He says this has to the potential to be a pure wrestling clinic. As his challengers make their way out Cole suggests he has probably just jinxed the match which will now end stinking the place out with multiple injuries.

Triple threat IC title match: Jushin Liger vs Ultimo Dragon Vs The Great Sasuke

Luckily for the fans it seems that JR is the most right out of the two commentators as these three men put on a real display of wrestling holds and counter holds interspersed with big kicks and impressive arial moves. The pace is intense but the rivalry between Ultimo Dragon and Sasuke is at a noticably higher level than that involving the champ and this is something Liger uses to his advantage. time and time again he allows the other two to go at it and then picks the bones afterwards. It is infact after one such an occasion that the conclusion of this match comes about.

The champ is knocked to the outside after a mule kick from The Great Sasuke but while out there takes his time getting back into the ring once again letting both his opponents weaken each other first. Back in the ring ultimo Dragon has the upper hand on Sasuke after attacking him while he was knocking Liger to the outside. he has beaten him into the corner and then starts pounding him down as he climbs up the turnbuckles and then goes for a Dragonsteiner. Sasuke gets a burst of energy however and fights back not allowing the Dragonsteiner and instead giving Ultimo Dragon a front suplex back into the ring. Then he climbs back up to the top rope and hits a goes for a High-angle senton bomb on Dragon. It seems he is just playing possum though as he rolls out of the way leaving Sasuke to crash into the hard canavas. while all this has been happening Liger has gotten back to his feet and been awaiting his chance to capitalise. He now takes it and is on another top turnbuckle within seconds of Sasuke missing his big aerial move. Because of that miss Sasuke is already lying in pain so its Ultimo Dragon he hits with his Shooting Star press after which he makes the cover and gets the 3 count needed to retain his gold.

    Winner: Jushin Liger
    L9jEFoJMKrlpXbd.jpg

backstage segment: Sid Vicious is interviewed backstage and asked about the role Jay Leno played in his defeat tonight. Sid calls it a joke, claiming that Bobby Lashley didnt beat him tonight, the BWA chairman and that slut Jenna Jameson beat him. He says that Lashley could never defeat him one on one, cos he is the most dominant force the world of professional wrestling has ever known, which is a fact that he says the BWA chairman will soon find out first hand. Despite being clearly incensed Sid actually laughs as he says he looks forward to seing Leno on Raw, then he walks away. In the background as the camera follows him can be seen Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. The camera momentarily focusses on him, showing him getting psyched for his main event match tonight by pounding the sh!t out of of boxing bag with both kicks and punches.

at this point we cut to a recent video with Mene Gene about Steamboats training.

When we return we are told that it's time for the KOTR finale as Cole lists off all the prestigous King of The Rings crowned in other promotions in the past. Then finally both of tonights earlier KOTR tournament matches are quickly recapped before both the winner re-emerge for this match, a match that comes not only with the King of the Ring moniker but also the no.1 conendership for the BWA world heavyweight title.

King of the Ring final: Jerry Lawler vs Kenta Kobashi

Before this match begins Lawler and Kobashi shake hands in an all too rarely seen show of respect. The crowd are mostly behind Kobashi but it's safe to say that Lawler won over large sections of the crowd already tonight and "jerry" chants can still be heard amonst the slightly louder "Kenta" chants.

Kobashi's ankle is heavily taped up and he seems to be once again able to put pressure on his foot until his footing suddenly gives way ironically as he attempted to attack. It was a Savate kick he was attempting as his leg gave way and unfortunatley for him Lawler adjusted quickly after the attack and was in the ascendancy from this point on. He hit his downed opponent witha number of big elbow drops then picked him up for a suplex. Somehow much to the crowds appreciation Kobashi counters this into a roll up pin though and gets a close 2 count after which he stays on the offensive and puts Lawler into a Boston Crab. Lawler eventually forces him to break the hold though and gets back to his feet and backs away into his corner to recuperate.

Lawler actually looks in shock as he see's Kobashi stumbling towards him wanting more begging him to come at him so come at him he does. He charges across the ring looking for a big clothesline but much to his surprise as it was to Mitsuharu Misawa's earlier tonight, Kobashi has a lil extra left in his tank and avoids the clothesline while connectine with a move of his own, his Burning Lariat from short range, which completely winds Lawler and kills all his momentum. Standing hunched over in the cener of the ring Lawler is then once more caught by a Savate kick this time Kenta keeping his footing while his opponent is sent crashing to the mat. KObashi then points to the top rope and makes his way to the corner as the teo commentators express entirely different point of view. JR saying "He can taste it, time to put the final exclamation point on it before becoming the king of the ring" while Cole simply suggests "I dont think this is so wise"

This time it would appear Cole is the right one as Kobashi's footing once more gives way as he was preparing for what looked was going to be moonsault. He drops perilously onto the top turnbuckle with one leg either side, giving himself a rather inadvertant low blow and in doing so gives Lawler a chance to get up. A chance he takes as he then gets up onto the turnbuckle with Kobashi and gives him 10 punches as counted out by the thousands in attendance. After no.10 Lawler hooks him up for a Superplex and sends Kobashi crashing back onto the ring mat. JR then questions how much more can Kenta actually take but it isnt long before that question is answerd as Lawler picks him up and with his patented Piledriver picks up the win, to once again become Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Winner and BWA King of The Ring: Jerry Lawler
    p-92524-jerry-lawler-autographed-hand-signed-8x10-photo-wrestling-aw-1846.jpg

After Kenta gets back to his feet he and Lawler once again shake hands as Jerry celebrates, after which he reminds everyone that his corrination will be live tommorow night on BWA Raw as the new King of the BWA ring decides stay at ringside and on commentary for tonights main event. In doing so he highlights that winning tonight's KOTR tournament has earned him the title of no.1 contender, saying he now has a vested interest in the following match.

The Challenger Ricky Steamboat is the first one out and like with all the others who emerged to the ring first tonight (excluding Liger) he grabs a mic as he enters the ring as it seems he too has a pre-match message for his opponent.

He says for months while Rikidozan has avoided facing him he has had to listen to the champ going on about how about how the BWA fans havent payed him the respect he deseves. well just because in Japan you are reverd like Bret Hart is in Canada or Santo is in Mexico doesent mean the American fans are going to love you from the get go, especially not when you act like a tempermental spoiled child. Respect needs to be earned it cant be gotten through fear and intimidation he says before telling Rikidozan that tonight he has one chance to earn that respect. He says that that there is a reason that the fans here chant his name, that he has gone out each and every night and proved that he is worthy of their cheers but that he is sure that should Rikidozan defeat him in an honourable match up tonight they will respect that, because no matter what you have said to justify your evasion of my challenge up until now I am your equal and I will prove that tonight so enough of your talk about killing hulkamania and everything past here and now youve got the WHC and I want it so lets do this!

With that Rikidozan's music hits and the WHC comes down the the ring.

The commentaters now amp up the the atmosphere pre match listing off the numerous memorable events we have seen tonight already saying that all that was just building to this moment and this match. "The BWA World Heavyweight Championship is on the line cole, if you cant get excited about this then you shouldn't be watching pro-wrestling".

WHC match:Rikidōzan (c) vs Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat

It's odd to talk about the main event as a PPV match stealer but it seems everyone had a favourite match from this PPV card before it began and usually it wasnt this one but after the show its the the one most are talking about. Both men have diffent moments on top early on Steamboat after the champ thinks he has tossed him out of only for him to skin the cat and be waiting for Rikidozan as he turns around and hitting him with a big Spinning heel kick which he follows up with multiple chops to his opponent. Rikidozan fights back however and has his own period of dominance after his own set of chops sets The Dragon up for a big bodyslam which leads to a 2 count pin.

The beginning of the end of this match see's Mitsuharu Misawa arrive at ringside much to the crowd's disapproval and Rikidozan to once again gain the advantage as a result. Misawa's meer appearance slightly distracts Steamboat but more meaningfully it distracts the ref and as he looks over to check on if Misawa is coming down to interfere or not Rikidozan in a dispicable double action both rakes Steamboat's eyes and gives him a low blow. The crowd let out a loud boo but the ref thinks they are still booing Misawa and that he must have tried something to influence the match and bars him from ringside despite him not actually doing anything much to the the crowds amusement. As he gets up to the top of the ramp he looks back for a moment at the ring for a moment, which is a moment too long as The Junkyard Dog attacks him from behind. The two are eventually seperated and brought back stage by security while in the ring Rikidozan looks to by building towards a finish. He had followed the low blow up with big mongolian chop, a chop so powerfull he often uses it as his finishing maneuver and now he had the challenger locked in a big body scossors choking the life out of him.

The ref comes to check if Steamboat is still concious and lifts up Rickys hand only to drop it three consecutive times, only on the final time of asking is there a sign of life, but yes Steamboat begins fighting back. He forces his way out of the hold and then to his feet before starting a back and forth exchange of chops with his opponent. when out of nowhere Rikidozan catches Steamboat with a big kick to his midsection and once more completely derails his progress. The champ see's this as his opportunity and hits his trademark Rikidozan Piledriver, things are not looking good for the challenger. Rikidozan doesent go for the pin immediatly though instead he starts slapping his elbow and signals to the top rope, it seems he wants to finish 'The Dragon' off with a big elbow drop. Unfortunatley for him though as he steadies himself on the top turnbuckle Steamboat springs back into life and onto his feet before charging into the corner and catching the champ with some big rights and lefts. he then hoists himself up onto the 2nd turnbuckle just below Rikidozan and grabs his opponent and superplex's him right back into the ring. Steamboat gets back to his feet and back onto the turnbuckle then as Rikidozan gets back up, but the moment the champ is vertical a vintage Ricky Steamboat Diving crossbody catches him and he is sent straight back to the mat where to his disbelief Steamboat goes for and makes the 3 count .

    winner: Ricky Steamboat

We have a new BWA world heavyweight champion and it's Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. The fans are going wild, while the former champ Rikidozan looks in total shock. After a few seconds a look of rage seems to grow across his face but he is escourted away by the same security personal that had earlier removed Misawa. this leaves Steamboat alone with his fans and his newly acquired belt to celebrate his moment. He has finally reached the peak of his profession and before we go off air this is aknowledged by his peers as the majority of the BWA lockeroom empties out to congratulate him on his win. a New day has dawned in the BWA here at BWA King of the Ring.
    steamboat-ricky_288x288.jpg

Some reasoning behind certain booking decisions and a look to feuds and the future in general for the BWA after King of The Ring

    The main event Scene

Rikidozan having enterd the BWA in last years draft was the perfect choice for a dominant heel foreign champion. He debuted as the leader of a superstrong faction alongside Aja Kong, Kenta Kobashi & Mitsuharu Misawa in a clean sweep at BWA: Re-Awakening and since claimed not only the WHC champion but also 'Killed Hulkamania' as he rid the BWA of it's former champion Hulk Hogan. Never recieving respect he got bitter towards the crowd and the crowd favourites such as Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. Steamboat is the ultimate babyface, and there coulf be no better way to send the crowd home than by having him go over such a dominant and hated heel. Ricky's reign as champ will be a breath of fresh air to the BWA faithfull but the PPV also saw the start of another reign, that of Jerry "The King" Lawler. By winning the KOTR tournament the now tweener Lawler has shot himself into the main event scene as the new no.1 contender but with the former champ Rikidozan no doubt also looking for his title rematch its safe to say the champ will be kept busy in the coming months.

    The Mid-Card

The mid card see's a number of notably wrestlers but most are going to atleast temporarily be involved in on going storylines. In this catagory you will find, Misawa, Sid Vicious & Bobby Lashley. Two men who are not mentioned here and could have a potential feud given their PPV interaction would be Harley Race & Kenta Kobashi though. Race has been left in a terrible mood after failing at the Semi-final stage in the KOTR tournament vs eventual winner Jerry Lawler. He does however consider himself more of a "real man" than Kobashi it seems despite Kenta making the final of that competition simply because he is "an American". Kobashi is all about honour and respect, perhaps if Race continues to disrespect him like this he will show him how much of a real man he is in the ring.

    The Owner/Celebs involvement

So Jay Leno has been revealed as the Owner/Chairman of the BWA, combine that big reveal with the in-ring "Celebration" of the women he left the arena with (Jenna Jameson) and the BWA has certainly grabbed the attension of the mainstream media. One man however who cant be fully behind this is the man who got screwed over right before the big reveal. In a sort of anti-establishment role it will be interesting to see how he seeks revenge but lest he not forget about Leno's backup and the man who defeated him at KOTR Bobby Lashley.

The JYD / Black Tiger Mask saga

JYD obviously thinks that it was Mitsuharu Misawa donning the Tiger mask at KOTR and on Raw these two will now doubt be somehow involved, but what of the other masked man who attacked Ritter? well The BWA did announce at the PPV that a talent exchange deal had been struck with CCW and considering they have on their roster both the man who Ritter teabagged and injured in TNA as Black Tiger Ultimo Guerrero & The Original Tiger Mask on their roster it shouldent surprise anyone if the talent exchange plays a part in this angles development.

    IC, Tag and Diva's

The Public Enemy made a big splash upon their arrival and brought some real life to the BWA's tag division with their epic stipulation packed best of 5 series with the public enemy. Even their opponents didnt think they would be 100% going into the decider so perhaps after some well needed recouperation for both teams The Briscoes might give them one last shot at the tag titles at the next PPV.

The Diva division is down to 1 (or 2 if you include JJ) after the Melissa's quit or queen victory but i doubt the Dark Queen will leave that easily. I'm not going to suggest it was a kayfabe firing but unlike previous BWA Diva's who have lost in such a match, I can imagine MsChif looking for vengeance against her former tag partner. There are also rumours that through her involvement with the BWA chairman Jenna Jameson is working on bringing in some big name talent to revitalise the division and in doing so fulfill her pledge to bring back it's attitude. There is already talk that currently unattched former BWA Diva Awesome Kong is in negotiations about a return but nothing is official. Generating even more of a reaction than this though is that Gina Carano is also supposidly deep in negotiations having been spotted at ringside at recent BWA Raw's and at KOTR.

The IC title is still held by Jushin Liger who after succesfully defending that belt against both Ultimo Dragon and The Great Sasuke is now looking forward to potential defending that belt as he represents the BWA against fighters from other promotions in the coming months with the Boards Monday Night Wars looking set for a round 2 and no doubt challlengers from CCW after the recent talent exchange deal. Meanwhile now would seem a likely time for Sasuke and Dragon to settle their differences in the ring as part of a 1-1 feud leading to the next PPV.

    Thanks
If you read all that you deserve thanks to begin with, also thanks to Gimmick and MNG for again running this and everyone who took part, fair play lads.

    SWF

    Go Home Show...
“Welcome everyone I’m Jim Ross along with Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, and we welcome you to Monday Night Smooth, live from Dallas, Texas, in front of 18,000 fans. Jake Roberts, we’re told, is here tonight, with Austin on his way in his hometown...plus will Arn Anderson retaliate; he is here tonight, as is Muhammad Hassan, who perpetrated that heinous assault last week in Anderson’s limo. All this, and i’m sure so much more, as we set out here on the last Monday Night Smooth before Desolution.

Hassan’s instantly recognisable wailing music fills the arena as we kick off. He has some masked fellows in tow, carrying him on their shoulders, while he has his hands aloft, as they saunter to the ring, the crowd booing like crazy.

Hassan stays on their shoulders, and is given a mic...
‘Ladies and gentlemen...you have watched me week after week, and you have seen a man who has no peers. A man who has proven, beyond doubt, that he is the greatest wrestler in this industry. You have seen a man denied championships, not because he failed, but because he was screwed by circumstances and prejudice.

I should have been the number one contender; I was screwed, and it’s Jake Roberts instead. I should’ve been the next in line, but then I was screwed out of that by bad timekeeping. We have a general manager who passes the buck, and we have a world of morons in all of you, who just lap it all up, and think it’s ok’.

Arn Anderson. Enforcer. You wanted to make a statement for your new project Brian Pillman last week, so you attacked me. Well you didn’t go a good enough job. As i’ve said before, I am the best in this business, so when you attack me, you’d better take me out, because I will get you. And so I did.’

*a replay is shown of the attack*

Arn can’t watch anymore, and he walks out, bandaged eye and all, to a generous reaction. As they say, he has his game face on.

    ArnAnderson010.jpg
‘You know, Hassan, I’ve made a career out of doing what you did last week. I’ve taken out American Dreams, I’ve taken out Icons, and now I’m more than happy to take you out too. I don’t take beatings like last week lightly. I respect what you did in a funny way. As I said, I’ve done the same...but that doesn’t mean I like it, and it doesn’t mean I like you.

This industry is filled with too many kids who think they’re owed something. The only thing with you is you’ve got the biggest mouth going. Everything you get in this business, you earn. Do you think I moaned and bitched as I made myself a legend? No, I beat people up until i couldn’t go unnoticed any longer. You’ve done nothing yet boy, and at Desolution, I propose we fight, so I can teach you...excuse me...so i can ENFORCE upon you...a lesson in manners.

    After much deliberation from Hassan...
‘I accept. It’ll be my honour, my privilege, and a blessing to Allah, to show you why I am who I say I am.’

    hassan.jpg

The match is made, they stare down as we go to break.

Our first match of the evening as it’s
    Mike Quackenbush v Tajiri

It’s a wonderfully technical match, with Quackenbush coming out on top after 7 minutes, catching Tajiri in the Quackendriver IV.

Tajiri is on a bit of a losing streak, and looks dejected in the ring. Chris Candido comes through the crowd and attacks the Japanese Buzzsaw from behind; locking on the Figure 4 for good measure. He grabs a mic...

‘I’m new here, and call me a bully, but I’d like to start my PPV career in SWF with a win, so this Sunday at Desolution, I propose I beat you for that win’

He drops the mic and walks off to a chorus of boos.

    i7R6mYEHgBXWLhM.jpg

Next up, Mr Slick comes out and makes an announcement.
‘Ladies and Gentlemen, this Sunday we have quite a main event in store for the SWF Heavyweight Championship.

They haven’t faced off yet, but they will do so tonight. They’re both scheduled to be here...Jake Roberts, and Stone Cold Steve Austin, will have a final face off. This is an official photocall, so any physical altercations will be met with severe repercussions.

    *crowd boos*
If Austin physically attacks Jake, he will be stripped of the championship and any return match on Sunday. If Jake physically attacks Austin, he will be stripped of his number one contendership.

    Thank you very much.’

    Next up in one-on-one action...
    Ahmed Johnson v Mikey Whipwreck

In a squash match, Johnson beats the snot out of Whipwreck for a couple of minutes, culminating in a stiff looking Pearl River Plunge for the win.

    Winner, by pinfall...Ahmed Johnson...

    ahmed-johnson_display_image.jpg?1298995054

    Johnson takes the mic...
‘You know, I’ve been asked the same question over the last couple of weeks...why? Why? Why, Ahmed, Why? Well, since I was so rudely interrupted last week, I never got a chance to explain...

At this point Gorgeous George comes out, to the usual chorus of boos.

    Wrestler%20Gorgeous%20George,%20Studio%20Photo%203.jpg

He gets in the ring, washes his hands, before taking the mic off Ahmed (which Ahmed doesn’t seem to mind)...
‘Ahmed. You don’t need to explain anything to these idiots. You don’t need to explain anything to Bob Sapp, and you don’t need to explain anything to anyone. The only person you are answerable to, is me. If people want to question this arrangement, let them. It’s not our problem. All you need to do is keep destroying the likes of Whipwreck, and watching my back...wait, i felt a pin come out...give me my mirror...’

Ahmed hands George a hand mirror.
‘It’s all ok...anyway, you need to explain nothing, and at Desolution, with you in my corner, I will embarrass Bob Sapp even more than he already embarrasses himself’

Sapp comes out to a generous ovation.

    1207702105_bob_sapp.jpg
‘Listen George, I’m not interested in a war of words. I’m a mellow man at heart, me. You may see me acting the fool, doing stupid commercials...you may then see me breaking people in half. I may seem like a headcase, but, y’know I’m quite chilled out. I gave you spear all those weeks ago, because I wanted to make a statement. I don’t like you, and I wanted to have a match. It’s quite simple.

As for your lacky there, I couldn’t give a crap why he’s in your corner. You can’t be paying him in hair spray because he’s as bald as i am. You can’t be paying him in perfume as he smells like a sewage tunnel...but whatever your paying him, i hope it’s good, but it’s not going to matter a damn come Sunday.

Now, I have a match with Muhammad Hassan later. I owe him one. But once i’m done with him, it’s all about you George. I’m going to dance all over your ass’

Tully Blanchard is getting ready for his match with Tito Santana, and Arn walks in.

    tully-arn.jpg

    Arn starts...
‘Listen, I don’t know what happened last week with me. I was under stress, you were probably under stress, we just had a moment. I just wanted to wish you good luck for your match tonight...’
‘You should know it’s not about luck’
    ‘Either way, all the best’
    .
‘Listen Arn, do you want to prove last week was just ‘a moment’? Back me up in my match tonight. Santana will have Martel in his corner...will you be in mine. Prove to me that you still have my back...’
    ‘No problem’

That match is next, as all 4 make their way to the ring. It’s Tully v Tito, on Smooth.

It’s a technically sound match, and neither corner gets involved. That is until Martel trips Tully from behind. Arn goes round to sort Martel out. The referee stops him, and behind his back, Strike Force beat down Tully to the delight of the crowd. They seem to be solid again! Arn is irate, Martel gets out the ring, but Tully kicks out at 2 and three quarters.

Martel can’t believe it. Tully scoops Tito out the ring, and Arn does nothing. Tully has no idea why and is going mad. Arn keeps looking. Tully then distracts the referee, Arn still does nothing. Instead he walks away. Tully is shouting up the ramp as Arn leaves, and is caught from behind by Tito for the pin.

    Winner, by pinfall...Tito Santana.

Martel runs in and celebrates with Tito.

Out of nowhere they’re attacked by the Wild Samoans, who decimate them with multiple headbutts. And celebrate by holding the tag titles in the air. They leave the ring.

    Wild_Samoans.jpg

Peter Maivia passes them, gives them a congratulatory look, and makes his way into the ring. He piledrives both of them in succession, and chuck them out the ring. He grabs a mic...

All of a sudden, out of the crowd, Ray Stevens comes in, attacks, and locks in his arm-breaker submission hold, much to the delight of the crowd. He grabs the mic...

    ‘I....will cripple....you’

    ray.jpg

The Samoans rush back, but it’s too late, as Stevens escapes.

Meanwhile Tully's made his way to the back, and Pillman attacks him, and ends up throwing him into a nearby production truck and knocking him out cold.

He gives a manical, all-too-familiar, loose cannon smile, and gestures the title, as we got to break.

    image101.gif

Our final match of the evening is Bob Sapp v Muhammad Hassan.

In a physical 10-minute match, which goes back-and-forth, it ends in a no-contest as firstly Ahmed Johnson gets involved, then Hassan’s hooded helpers rush the ring, and bring Hassan away, again on their shoulders.

It’s left with Sapp and Johnson in the ring staring off.

All of a sudden a hooded man chops blocks Sapp from behind, and the two of them decimate Sapp. They’re working in wonderful tandem. Sapp is left a mess, the two stand over him, and the mask is taken off...

    ...it’s Stevie Ray.

Gorgeous George makes his way to the ring, laughing and applauding the work of his two recruits. He gets in the ring, washes his hands, and shakes the hands of Ahmed and Stevie. He then takes the mic...
‘Robert...I haven’t even touched you, and I have destroyed you...imagine what will happen Sunday...’

George poses with his foot across Sapp as we cut to break.

Next up is the Main Event....The Final Face Off...between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts.

Firstly Mr Slick comes to the ring, presumably to conduct this faceoff somewhat. He is flanked by a dozen security guards, who will hopefully be able to keep this civil.

Jake makes his way to the ring, sly grin and all.

Austin then follows him, to a rapturous ovation in his home state. He still has a small cast on his ankle, which he’s limping on. The tension is absolutely palpable as the two are in the same ring, facing off properly for the first time during this feud. Mr Slick starts the proceedings...
‘This is very simple men. We want this to go without a hitch. This is purely for the final week of press, so we just want a few photos, and couple of words from both of you, and that will be all. We can sail into Sunday, where we all can’t wait to see you settle this thing’.

They get down to business, eye to eye. The crowd is chanting Austin, and he’s having to grit his teeth not to attack. Jake just smiles, knowing he can’t be touched, even after all the attacks he’s put on Austin these last 3 weeks.

They separate and Jake is given a mic.

    jakecorner.jpg
‘I’ve said just about all that needs to be said on this matter. You have the title. I want it. You took my pride and my legacy. I want it back. You made your name off Jake Roberts. I want to make a whole new name for myself by killing the legend of the Rattlesnake. You know what? A rattlesnake is pretty harmless when it comes down to it. They are quite easy to handle. You just need to know how to go about it. A python? It just bites. Unprovoked. Without warning. This Sunday Austin, you won’t see it coming. Your title will be mine. And this industry will be mine.’

    Austin gets to respond...
‘Jake, I have nothing to say to you....nada...zip...zero...sweet **** all...my talking will be done Sunday, when I beat you within an inch of your life. You want to make a name for yourself off Stone Cold Steve Austin?...ehh ehh!!...that’s just not going to happen. This title is the most important thing in the world to me...and your sorry ass will find out first hand just how nasty ol’ Stone Cold can get.

I’ve dished out a lot of beatings in my life son...but as I said 2 weeks ago, nothing will compare to the beating that’s coming your way Sunday’

*he rips off the cast, and starts jumping up and down*
‘in fact, i’m even 100%, so all your attacks over the last few weeks have been for nothing...well...they did do something...they made me an even more pissed off son-of-a-bitch than i already was. So you’re in for the worst ass-whipping of your entire life...and that’s the bottom line cos STONE COLD SAID SO....!’

    218785.jpg

Jake is absolutely irate, as Austin gives Jake the middle fingers from behind security. Security have their work cut out, as the two are dying to get it on, as the crowd goes ballistic, as Smooth goes off the air.

    Your PPV Card...
    Chris Candido v Tajiri
Strike Force (Tito & Martel) (c) v The Wild Samoans (for the SWF Tag Team Championship)
Ray ‘The Crippler’ Stevens v Peter Maivia

Tully Blanchard (c) v Brian Pillman (for the SWF Pure Championship)

Welcome everyone to PREMIERMANIA, Live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. “UP THE PREMIER!!!!!!”

Pyro flies around the MGM Grand Garden Arena, as we are welcomed live to PWF Premiermania. A video plays highlighting all of the upcoming contests. No time is wasted, as it is already time for our first match of the evening.

Match #1 – Jack Evans vs 2 Cold Scorpio

If Jack Evans wins this match, he will become a member of the Bloods gang. Evans uses his speed and agility to try and tire the older Scorpio out in the early going. We see a clip of the Bloods standing around a TV backstage watching potentially their new homeboy in action. Evans gains the upper hand on Scorpio, and Scorpio os down on the ground, in perfect position for Evans to hit him with his unbelieveable 630 from the top rope. Evans climbs to the top rope, and stalls, throwing up the Bloods gang sign as the crowd boos his white ass. His confidence was short lived, as Scorpio manages to avoid the 630, and quickly scampers to the top rope himself, with Evans down, and hits him with his flip Leg Drop from the top rope. Evans is out.

Winner via pinfall – 2 Cold Scorpio in 12:14

We see a video hyping up the upcoming Hardcore match between Abyss and Abdullah the Butcher.

Backstage, The Bloods are discussing tactics for their matches tonight. Rampage says he is going to knock some Mexican Ass out tonight, broken hand or not. In comes Jack Evans. He says that he had that match won, and thinks he should be a Blood anyway. Taz tells him to check his self before he wrecks his self. Evans says the Bloods need him. He’s getting desperate. Rampage tells him to get his white ass out the hood before he puts his foot up his ass. Evans accepts defeat and leaves. The Bloods continue discussing tactics after slamming the door on Evans.

    Match #2 – Hardcore Match

    Abyss vs Abdullah the Bucther

Abyss doesn’t leave Abdullah finish his entrance and meets him halfway up the ramp, as 26 years of frustration are finally being let out by the monster. The crowd chants “T-N-A, T-N-A!” much to the frustration of Abyss. They battle backstage. Abyss finds a chair and begins to unload on Abdullah. Abdullah manages to counter by spraying Abyss in the face with a fire extinguisher. This spray momentarily stuns The Monster, which gives Abdullah enough time to charge at Abyss and spear him right through the wall! The crowd chants “Holy ****, Holy ****!” Abdullah comes to quicker than Abyss, and notices that he speared him into the catering room! He goes in search of his trademark fork. He then remembers the special catering equipment that PWF had brought in for Giant Baba, who was taken out by the Bloods some weeks ago. He finds Giant Babas GIANT FORK! Abdullah looks like a child at Christmas as he chases the now revived Abyss back ringside with his new toy.

Abyss falls on the ramp, which gives Abdullah time to catch him. Abdullah wants to ensure Abyss leaves with a real scar on his face. He tears into the monsters forehead with the fork, and blood pours from the head of the Monster. Abdullah goes for the cover. 2 count. He makes his way to the ring and searches underneath it. He finds a 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire. Why in the name of god would that be under the ring? Who knows. Abyss is trying to escape back up the ramp. Abdullah stalks him with the 2x4. He swings for Abyss, but Abyss manages to avoid contact and kicks Abdullah the Butcher in his pork chop. He grabs the 2x4 and opens up on Abdullahs back. Blood is pouring from the back of the legendary Abdullah. Abyss lets out a scream of satisfaction at the top of the ramp. He picks up the lifeless butcher and says “finally” before sacrificing himself and hitting Abdullah with a huge Black Hole Slam from the top of the ramp down to the floor, going through a stack of tables. Abyss lands on top of Abdullah, and the ref counts to 3, but they’re both out cold.

Winner via pinfall – Abyss in 19:07

Backstage, we see La Raza sitting around in their locker room some blazin some kush. Homicide says Abyss is crazy yo. He says that tonight is La Raza’s night for revenge on The Bloods. He says tonight, La Raza must take care of business for the essays everywhere. Layla gives her man a big filthy kiss.

We see PWF TV Champion Razor Ramon preparing for the upcoming match with Ken Shamrock. A small child asks Razor for his autograph. Razor flicks his toothpick at the child.

Match #3 for the PWF TV Championship

Razor Ramon © vs Ken Shamrock

Ramon is on a mission to prove that he can actually compete with the best of them, and that he is in fact the “worlds most dangerous mang”. Shamrock unleashes a flurry of kicks to the legs of Ramon. Ramon jumps outside to take a breather. The crowd hates the snaky TV Champions actions. He doesn’t care, and gets back into the ring. Ramon goes on offence for a while, trying to beat down the feisty Ultimate Fighter, but after a while Shamrock goes right back to work on the legs of Ramon. Ramon is thrown into the corner. Out of sight of the ref and Shamrock, he rips off the turnbuckle pad. Shamrock goes charging at Ramon, but Ramon moves and Shamrock bounces his head right off the exposed turnbuckle. Ramon picks him up for the Razors edge but collapses as a result of his weakened legs. Shamrock, still dazed, locks in the ankle lock and Ramon taps immediately!

Winner via submission, and NEW PWF TV Champion – Ken Shamrock in 14: 01

Shamrock celebrates with the fans, as Ramon sulks all the way back to the locker room.

We see a video hyping the fued between The Bloods and La Raza.

A video plays stating the rules for the upcoming War Games style match. Two men will start, and another will enter every five minutes after that. It will not be a traditional War Games match. There will be no cage, and there will be eliminations. It ends with a picture that says Gang War Games.

Match #4 – Gang War Games

JTG, Shad Gaspard and Rampage Jackson vs Hernandez, Super Crazy and Psicosis.

First entry for The Bloods is JTG.

First entry for La Raza is Super Crazy.

They have a fast paced battle. Crazy eventually gets control of JTG and plants him in the corner for the triple moonsault. As he goes for the first moonsault, the 10 second countdown comes up. Just as he climbs to the top, Shad comes racing down to the aid of his tag partner.

Second entry for The Bloods is Shad Gaspard

Gaspard uses his size and power to dominate Super Crazy while JTG recovers. Shad goes for the big boot on Crazy but Crazy ducks out of the way, but eats a spinning heel kick from the revived JTG. Crazy is down, and outnumbered. His disadvantage is shortlived however.

Second entry for La Raza is Hernandez.

Hernandez goes right for JTG, immediately hitting him with a huge Border Toss. Before he cam make the cover he is hit from behind by Shad. Shad and Hernandez do battle, as Crazy slowly tries to pull himself on top of JTG for the cover. JTG has had time to recover and kicks out at 2.9.

Third entry for The Bloods is Rampage Jackson

Rampage cautiously makes his way to the ring, nursing his broken hand on the way. He overlooks the fighting going on in the ring and waits outside to pick the right time. Hernandez and Shad brawl through the ropes to the outside. JTG and Super Crazy and both exhausted. Rampage pounces and hits Crazy with his right hook KO. He screams in pain as he hits him, as surely he has only further damaged his hand. JTG covers Crazy and he is out.

First Elimination for La Raza – Super Crazy

Almost immediately, the final entrant enters the match.

Third entry for La Raza – Psicosis.

Psicosis sprits into the ring and straight away hits JTG with a huge spinning DDT for the 3 count.

First elimination for The Bloods – JTG.

Psicosis spots Rampage wincing in pain on the outside. He bounces off the ropes and hits a diving senton over the top rope onto Rampage. Hernandez and Shad get back in the ring. Psicosis drags Rampage back into the ring. Rampage looks like he cant take the pain of his broken hand and Psicosis hits him with the Psycho Stunner. Shad breaks up the pinfall, but turns straight into a boot from Hernandez. Hernandez sets him up for the border toss, as Psicosis climbs to the top rope. Hernandez sends Shad flying all the way back to Brooklyn, as Psicosis simultaneously hits Rampage with a diving Leg Drop. They cover them together, and neither man can muster up the strength to kick out

Second elimination for The Bloods – Rampage Jackson

Third Elimination for The Bloods – Shad Gaspard

Winners via pinfall – La Raza in 25:08

Super Crazy returns to the ring with some 40’s and a bag of kush as the celebrations being for La Raza. Up next, the leaders of the gangs do battle.

Match #5 – Taz vs Homicide

Taz and Homicide waste no time in tearing into each other. Both men look to take out weeks of frustration on each other after weeks of hit and runs on each others gangs. Taz takes over on offence for a while and the crowd is not pleased with this. He looks to lock in the Tazmission after several minutes but Homicide has the strength to slip out of it and hits Taz with a stiff back suplex, as he builds up some steam. The crowd get behind the Notorious 187, and a small chant of “Eazy E” breaks out amongst some West Coast natives in the crowd. Homicide acknowledges it by calling them real muthaphuckin g’s. They love it. Nobody steps to them, either.

This turns into a heated back-and-forth battle. They do the boo-yay thing for a while, before Homcide ducks a “boo” punch and hits Taz with a drop toe hold, into an STF. Taz skurrys to the bottom rope. The ref orders Homicide to break it. Homicide tells the ref to check his self. As the ref checks his self, Taz sneaks up from behind and locks in the Tazmission. Layla is screaming for her man on the outside. Homicide is an inch away from the bottom rope, but he is fading. With what looks like his last breath, his hand lands on the bottom rope. He’s out, though. Taz uses this opportunity to go after Layla on the outside. He chases her around the ring, and she eventually jumps in the ring with Taz in pursuit, but he eats a huge lariat from Homicide. Homcide is still a bit groggy. He picks Taz up and hits him with the Cop Killa!

    1…..

    2….

    …kick out!

Taz kicks out at the last second. Both men are down. They eventually claw their way back to their feet, and Taz unloads with a huge T-Bone suplex. Taz has a dangerous look in his eye. He pulls Homicide over to the side of the ring where Layla is and locks in the Tazmission. The refs checks Homicides hand 3 times. Homicide is out.

Winner via Submission – Taz in 27:45

Taz celebrates on his way to the back as Layla tends to her fallen papi.

A video plays recapping the fued between The Undertaker and The Big Bossman. It is now time for the main event of PWF Premiermania

Match #6 for the PWF World Heavyweight Championship

The Undertaker © vs The Big Bossman

The Undertaker makes his way to the ring in a more bad-ass like fashion. He is not here to shoot Thunder and Lightning at people – he is here to fight the man who abducted his wife and hung his ex-manager. Bossman walks to the ring like a man proud of his work. Undertaker stares a cold hole through the Bossman for the introductions. Bossman seems unfazed. The bell rings and Undertaker goes straight on the attack. Bossman quickly reverses it, and takes down the Deadman. Undertaker eventually gets to his feet and strikes again, but once again the Bossman reverses the Phenoms efforts. It looks like the mind games of the Big Bossman might have worked, The Undertaker seems to be fighting with his heart and not his head.

Bossman works over the Deadman for a while before Taker gets back on offence. The crowd is 100% behind Undertaker. The boo’s being directed at the Bossman can be heard all the way to Timbuktu. Undertaker feels the energy of the crowd being him and goes up top for Old School, and the crowd is on its feet as The Phenom flies through the air. He signals that it might be time for a Tombstone. He goes to pick the Bossman up but Bossman hits him with a huge uppercut to the throat. Taker is stunned. Bossman picks him up and throws him into the ropes, Taker bounces off the ropes right into a Bossman Slam. Takers legs caught the referee in mid air, and the ref was sent flying into the corner. Bossman goes for the cover, but there’s no ref! Bossman smiles like he has an idea.

He jumps outside the ring, and starts looking for something underneath the ring. He pulls out his Nightstick. He jumps back into the ring and starts sizing the Undertaker up. Taker is up, and turns right into…. No, he doesn’t! Taker has Bossman caught by the throat! Chokeslam! The crowd is on its feet. Taker signals for the Tombstone as the ref comes too. Undertaker hits Bossman with a massive Tombstone, and has gotten his redemption!

Winner via pinfall and still PWF World Heavyweight Champion – The Undertaker in 21:43

Pyro goes off around the MGM Grand Garden Arena as The Undertaker finally gets his revenge on the Big Bossman! That’s it from Las Vegas, log onto pwf.com now to get the live stream from outside Easons in Clonmel!!

Live on pwf.com, it’s the Stream Showdown, The Clonmel Collision, The Bulmers Battle, The Premier Pounding, The Dan Breen Disaster, The Michael Lowery Mistake, The Galtee Mountain Gala, The Slieve na mban Summit….. Live from outside Easons in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, it’s time for HELL IN DA MEL!

We see Hurley pacing back and forth. The Liam McCarthy is on the line. It can be seen in the background on the wall of St. Peter and Paul’s Church. Hurley is getting impatient. There’s balled up Aberakebabra bag from the shop across the road on the ground beside him. Clonmel gurriers begin shouting abuse at the useless looking man in a Kilkenny Jersey outside Easons. “the schtate a you boi ill bayte you 6 ways from Sunday”… “who’s the spa in the Killkunty jersey ill break his jaw” “gwan the pussy cats!” etc… Gerard.C and Flahavaj can be seen coming out of The Post House Bar across the road in their Tipperary and Waterford Jerseys respectfully. They don’t look like they’ve had too much, they’re walking a straight line anyway.

“so, you’ve finally decided to show up, Gerard.C!”…. “hang on here Flah bai will ya, tell Dessie inside to have two pints on, I wont be long!” “be jaypurs Gerseen bai and bogorrah and begobbin I will so I will be the hokey” It appears Flahavaj is after one or two more than Gerard.C is.

“so Gerard.C, are you a man or a mouse? What have you got to say now that we’re face to face?”
“Conor bai you are the most useless lump of skin I’ve ever seen walking on two legs, honest to god you are so useless now that the ****e hangin from me hole the morning after a feed a stout would impress me more so it would. You’ve a head like a slapped arse and an arse like a….”

Gerard.C doesn’t get the chance to finish what was bound to be a belter of a joke, as he is introduced to the right hand of Conor Hurley. Gerard.C swings back with a right hand of his own. Ger can see the Liam McCarthy Cup out of the corner of his eye – he knows this battle is huge. The weight of a proud county rests on the shoulders of one tipsy young man. Hurley and .C heave into each other with the slaps. Hurley connects with a straight jab, and Gerard.C now has a bloody nose for the first time since the u12 South Final of 1999. Gerard.C doesn’t like the fact that his blood has been spilled on Tipperary Soil, and picks up an empty Pint Bottle of Bulmers someone from The Post House must have left on the foot path. The chase is on up Gladstone St. Hurley is petrified of the crazed Gerard.C. He runs for cover up the entrance to the Old Tesco Car Park beside Easons. Gerard.C dashes around the corner after Hurley when…

    *Smack*

Hurley had it planned all along – he hid a Hurley up beside Easons and belted Gerard.C straight into the gob with it! Gerard.C is down and crawling back out onto Gladstone St. Hurley stands over the prone PWF owner – “you’re not so tough now Gerard.C, say something bad about me NOW!” Gerard.C wipes the blood from his mouth…. “You….you…. you’re an insufferable ****ehawk Conor!” and with that Gerard.C unleashes a ferocious right boot into the jubbly bits of Conor Hurley. Hurley is down. Gerard.C has Hurley flat on his back outside Easons! He kicks Hurley into the face… and again… and again… and a fourth time… and a fifth time! “There’s your miserable 5 in a row now lad”. .Gerard.C drags the lump up onto his feet to deliver the final blow. “I told you you were useless Conor, I told you but you wouldn’t listen to me” Hurley begins laughing. This angers the passionate Gerard.C. “What, what in the name of god are you laughing at?”……. “………behind you”. Gerard.C turns around and……..

Gets a Superkick straight into the face!!!! Gerard.C is down, but who……

    IT’S FLAHAVAJ!!!!!

Flahavaj picks the unconscious Gerard.C off the ground and throws him through the Easons window like it was a barber shop! Flahavaj is in the living horrors. He turns around and HUGS the obscenely useless Conor Hurley! Hurley then awards Flahavaj with the Liam McCarthy Cup! The locals pelt the two of them with half eaten Kebabs and empty fag boxes, as they celebrate! Flahavaj lifts the Liam McCarthy cup triumphantly over his head, declaring himself the greatest Waterford man of all time to a chorus of thundering boo’s from the Clonmel Locals. Flahavaj points at the flattened Gerard.C – “There’s yer hero, there’s the owner of the PWF, look at the cut of him, we finally have the McCarthy down Deise way…. ABOY THE HURLEY BOYYYYYY!!!”

The locals begin to tend to Gerard.C as Hurley and Flahavaj tear off on the drive for five towards Mooncoin. A dark, dark day for Tipperary. And the darkest of days for the fallen Gerard.C.

Thanks for reading! Vote PWF #1. We have a 5 point plan to regain the Liam McCarthy cup, and can only do so with your support. Go raibh mile maith agaibh!

    Fusion Pro Wrestling

    A New Level

    Match One

    Chris Hero vs. Claudio Castagnoli
    Special Ref: Miss Elizabeth

    Background:
Miss Elizabeth has been managing The Kings of Wrestling, and they seemed destined for great things, but Hero and Claudio have had a petty rivlary over who the better wrestler is. It lead to them missing out on a chance to be in the tag title match at the PPV. Both men have also been trying to impress Miss Elizabeth in different ways. Hero has been taunting Claudio more since he has been on a loosing streak. The final straw was when Hero set him up to fave CP Munk and cost him the match. Claudio challenged him to a match and Hero accepted, but made Elizabeth the unwilling ref for the contest. Who will walk out as the true King of Wrestling?
Elizabeth comes out in her refs gear, smiling while also looking uneasy in the eyes. Chris Hero is out first to boos from the crowd, but he doesn't seem distracted by them. Claudio comes out to a big response and takes the time to clap the hands of those at ringside. Hero however jumps him and we are underway.

The contest features alot of one up-manship from either wrestler. When Hero hits an elbow, Claudio hits two uppercuts. When Castagnoli hits the ropes, Hero hits the rope faster. When Hero challenges him to push ups, Hero kicks him in the ribs. Hero gets the loaded elbow pad, but Miss Elizabeth stops him. Hero pushes her which sets off Claudio, who hits a number of European uppercuts and hits the Ricola Bomb for his first win in Fusion Pro Wrestling!

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli via Ricola Bomb @ 12:36

Afterwards, Claudio hugs Elizabeth and goes for a kiss, but she backs away saying sorry, then makes her way to the back. While Hero gets back up, he yells at Claudio "See, she cost you match after match and for what? Now do you see?" Claudio extends his hand and Hero accepts. Claudio may have won, but they still are The Kings of Wrestling, and without Miss Elizabeth between them they are destined for great things.

    Match Two

    Val Venis vs. Joey Ryan

Joey and Val have both been claiming that they are the ultimate ladies man. Val says that he is classy and can treat a woman to a good night, and an even better morning. Ryan says that the women of the 00's don't want a washed up porn star, they want the man who is bring sleavy back and will let them take a moustache ride all night long. The two men will battle just to see who the better ladies man is, and who will steal the hearts (and perhaps dignity) of the women of this world.
Ryan comes out first, offering women at ringside cigarettes and keys to his hotel room. Val comes out winking at the ladies and teasing them with his towel. Ryan and Val stand face to face. Joey yells to the crowd "Who wants a moustache ride!?!?" to a roar from the crowd. Val does his dance, but Ryan kicks him sqare in the crotch. Joey gets booed as he plays upto the crowd.

Joey and Val have a great straight wrestling match with plenty of playing up to the women in the crowd. Joey gets the upper hand though and gets the win after luring Val into the Mustache Ride for the win.

Winner: Joey Ryan via Mustache Ride @ 8 Minutes

Afterwards Joey grabs the mic afterwards. He claims that he has prooven that he is the ultimate ladies man on the Fusion Pro Wrestling roster, and that he can charm any of the ladies backstage. Aja Kongs music suddenly hits and the crowd errupts. Joey looks terrifed as he acts sheepisly before Aja knocks him out with a firm right hand. Necros music suddenly hits and our next contest is set to begin.

    Match Three

    $50,000 Knock Out Challenge

    Necro Butcher vs. Aja Kong

Each week, Necro has been putting the money he made from The Wrestler on the line to the first person who can knock him out. Each week Butcher destoryed those put in front of him, but when Aja debuted and went to take on the challenge, Necro stated he doesn't hit women and refused. Kong went on to say that Butcher feared her, and he is not a man if he is afraid of facing a women. Necro agreed to the contest were the only way to win is to knock out the other wrestler.
The match is insanely stiff, with neither wrestler holding back. Despite no weapons being involved in the match, the match is insanely brutal. With neither wrestler appearing to fall down, Aja gets two chairs from ringside and forces Necro to sit down. With both wrestlers sitting they reinact a scene from The Wrestler by taking it in turns to slap each other. Necro hits a hard right on Kong after a few slaps and she returns the favour. They got back and forth until they both take a swing at the same time, sending each other to the floor. Neither contender responds and the match is thrown out.

No Contest Due to Double Knock Out @ 12 Minutes

Medics are called afterwards for both wrestlers, but neither of them ask for help as they make their way backstage.

    Match Number 4

    Batista vs. Takeshi Morishima

Morishima has had a problem with Batista claiming to be the best "big guy" in the world, claiming that takes every chance to not wrestle and will cheat to win. Batista says that Morishima hasn't proved anything to him. He points to his big house, his cars and the women on his arms to proove his success. Morishima tells him to put his money were his mouth is and challenges him to a match. Batista turns him down every week until a violent sneak attacked just 6 days before the PPV, leaving Morishima with a hugh disadvantge. Can Morishima battle through his injuries and beat Batista?
Batista is out in a suit and shades, clearly not dressed for a match. He has a mic. He says that he is remorsefull about his attack on Morishima, saying that he went too far. He knows that Morishima is built around honor, and understand if he doesn't want to go ahead with tonights contest.

CEO Seán Reid suddenly comes out and says that if Batista does not go ahead with the match, he will fire him on the spot. When he hired Batista, he was told that he wanted to proove how good of a wrestler he was, and he hasn't done that since day one. Batista throws his glasses down in a fit as Morishimas music hits.

The two have a very tough contest that isn't very technical, just a brawl, but the crowd laps it up. Batista keeps targeting Morishimas injured legs, but when Batista hits a Batista Bomb, Morishima somehow kicks out. He screams in Batistas face as the Japanese fighting spirit kicks in and Batista roars back at him. The two shove back and forth until Morishima grabs Batistas head and hits him hard, then hits the Backdrop Driver for the win.

    Match Five

Fusion Pro Wrestling Tag Team Titles

The American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards)
    vs.
The Extreme Horsemen (Steve Corino &
    CW Anderson)

The American Wolves have been causing havoc on the roster since they debuted as part of The Four Horsemen. They have joined Benoit in his quest to destory wrestling, claiming that their youth makes them spokesmen for every young wrestler and hope to save all their lives, or destroy them trying. Corino and Anderson had enough and joined FPW to help stop The Four Horsemen. The two teams have been brawling every week in this bitter war, and it will all end at the PPV when the tag titles will be decided. If The Amercan Wolves win it could be the begining of the end for wrestling, but The Extreme Horsemen have the experience needed to stop them and save pro wrestling.
This match hits high gear from the get go. It keeps going back and forth, with every man giving it his all in the match. As it goes on though, the age factor begins to rear it's head, as Davey and Eddie find it easier to go past the twenty minute point. Eventually Davey picks up the pin on CW Anderson with the DR Driver to pick up the tag team titles.

Winners and new FPW Tag Team Champions: The American Wolves via DR Driver @ 31:43

Backstage Benoit is watching on a monitor with a grin on his face, his plans coming to life.

    Match Six

    Dusty Rhodes Retirement Match

    Dusty Rhodes vs. Colt Cabana

Dusty announced his retirement on Good Times, Great Memories and asked Colt Cabana to be his final challenger. Colt accepted, saying it would be an honor, but Dusty shocked the world by attacking Colt and joining a group he has had problems with, The Four Horsemen. Dusty claimed that the group had opened his eyes, and when the original group tried to break his leg, they were trying to save him. This resulted in bloody attacks on Cabana, who kept trying to convinve Dusty that he should retire with his head held high, not brain washed by Benoit. When The Four Horsemen attacked Colt and knocked him out, Dusty placed a chair on Cabanas leg, looking to do what the group did to him all those years ago. But after Benoit slapped Dusty and told him to hurry up and do it, Dusty smacked Benoit across the head with the chair, cleared out The American Wolves and shook Colts hand. Dusty now wants to retire with his head held high and cannot wait to steal the show with Cabana.
Colt comes out first to a huge reaction. He is all smiles and makes time for every fan at ringside. Rhodes comes out to a standing ovation. He enters the ring with a tear in his eye as each fan chants "Thank you Dusty". Colt stays out of the ring, allowing Dusty to take it all in. Dusty walks over to the ropes like a gentleman and sits on them, allowing Colt in. They shake hands and Dusty says thank you. Colt smiles and the match is on. It is a classic old school contest, slow moving but with some fun spots, building up and up as the contest goes on. Dusty goes to hit the binoic elbow, but Colt ducks and hits one of his own. He hits the Colt 45, goes to pin but hesitates. The crowd is silent as Dusty stands up and slaps Cabana and tells him to keep fighting like the man he knows he is. Colt knocks him down and locks him in the Billy Goats Gruff. Dusty taps out and the contest is over.

Winner:Colt Cabana via Billy Goats Gruff @ 19:23

Colt rolls out of the ring instantly and joins the crowd in a standing ovation for Dusty. Dusty stands back up, crying and waves goodbye to the fans. His family come out to share the moment at the entrance ramp with Colt. As Dusty walks by, he tells Colt that he is destined for great things and to make sure The Four Horsemen get what they deserve. Colt agrees and holds Dustys hand high.

    Match Seven

    Fight Without Honor

    El Generico vs. Nitika Koloff

Generico and Koloff began as a mismatch tag-team, but Koloff snapped when Generico cost them a match when he became distracted by Miss Elizabeth. Koloff has been tormenting his ex-friend with serious attacks, including throwing him through a glass door, slicing him up. During this time Miss Elizabeth has been concerned that this is her fault. Generico returned to TV a week before the PPV with a serious attitude and wanted revenge after Koloff put his hands on Elizabeth. Koloff accepted and it has lead to a Fight Without Honor, were the rule book is thrown out the window.
Nikita comes out to a chorus of boos, the hatred for his man is huge. Genericos theme hits and he has recieved the loudest pop of the night. But he is nowhere to be seen. Suddenly he jumps the rail behind Nikita and hits from behind and the Fight Without Honor is on. This is not a fight for the faint harted, as both men go all out to gain the victory. Some of the biggest spots include Nikita body slamming Generico throught the Spanish annoucn table after Generico runs on the barrier towards him, leaps but gets caught. Generico later hits a Yakuza kick when Nikita holds up a light tube near his face, sending the glass straight into his face. But the match ends when Generico hits a top rope brain-buster through a guard rail set up in the turnbuckle.

Winner: El Generico via BRAINBUSTAAAAAAAH!!! @ 26:12

Afterwards Miss Elizabeth suddenly runs to the ring to the suprice of El Generico and embrasses him in the middle of the ring. Generico is battered, bloody and bruised but still cracks a smile knowing that he has beaten the giant and gotten the girl.

    Main Event

    Fusion Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Title

    Samoa Joe vs. Chris Benoit

Benoit has been leading a new version of The Four Horsemen (Himself, The American Wolves & Dusty Rhodes) that has vowed to destroy pro-wrestling forever. Benoit blames the loss of his family and friends and his health on the sport, and Samoa Joe has taken up the challenge as being the face of pro-wrestling. Joe has been telling Benoit that the only person to blame for his losses is himself. At the PPV Benoit hopes to win the title so he can hold the power within the company to bring it to the ground. He has management in a tough position because they agreed to give him a title match before the formation of The Four Horsemen. Joe wants to be the man who stops this group and bring pro wrestling back to the mainstream.
Benoit is out first to a mixed reaction. He is detirmed to win the title tonight. Joe is out to a heros response from the fans. The two stand face-to-face as the fans get louder and louder, waiting for the first man to make his move. Benoit spits in Joes face and Joe slaps Benoit hard and we are ready to go! The match is stiff and technical as hell, with neither man showing any sign of fatigue, despite the contest going past the half hour mark. Joe gets the upper hand when he locks in his own version of the cross face, but Benoit rolls forward, bringing Joe with him and somehow locking in his own crossface. But the move lands Joe near the ropes and he grabs them. Benoit goes up top for the diving headbutt, but Joe jumps up and grabs him and goes to hit the muscele buster. As he falls back to hit it though, Benoit scrambles free mind-fall and when they land Benoit had locked in the Crippler Crossface in the centre of the ring. The long contest has taken its toll on Joe and he has no option but to tap.

Winner and new Fusion Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion: Chris Benoit via Crippler Crossface @ 52:24

The American Wolves join Benoit in the ring as they pose with their belts. The crowd are stunned and are wondering what will happen to Fusion Pro Wrestling now that The Four Horsemen have all the titles. Will they succeed in taking down pro wrestling? Tomorrows tv show will be interesting to say the least and will be must see televison!

After the PPV, I would book Joe, Colt and The Extreme Horsemen to carry on trying to save wrestling from The Four Horsemen. Having them win the titles ensures that the feud will last for longer than having them loose instantly.

I would have Nikita replace Dusty in the group as an enforcer type character, and Generico would enter a feud with either Val or Joey with them trying to seduce Elizabeth. Also Hero and Claudio would begin their road towards the tag belts, withThe American Wolves not focusing on them too much, causing them to loose the belts. Necro and Aja would have their rematch as would Batista and Morishima.

Jericho comes out to help Mr. T but Wolfe also comes out and attacks him before he gets in the ring. Stephanie comes out and tells them all to stop and that this is ruining the PPV. Magnus leaves the ring. Piper keeps beating on Mr. T in the ring but again Stephanie tells him to stop or face the consequences. Williams leaves the ring. Wolfe asks Stephanie what is going on and she says that this is her PPV and she makes the rules not him or Piper. Jericho is down outside the ring and Mr. T is down inside the ring. Piper is still beating on him. Stephanie fires Piper and orders security to throw him out. She tells Wolfe to go back to the dressing room as the main event Iron man match will be happening tonight. Wolfe is angry but leaves for the back. Medics help Jericho and Mr. T to the back.

    SWF: DESOLUTION

    The Card:
    Chris Candido v Tajiri
Strike Force (Tito & Martel) (c) v The Wild Samoans (for the SWF Tag Team Championship)
Ray ‘The Crippler’ Stevens v Peter Maivia
    Arn Anderson v Muhammad Hassan
Tully Blanchard (c) v Brian Pillman (for the SWF Pure Championship)
Bob Sapp (v/Shaq) v Gorgeous George (w/ Harlem Heat)
Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) v Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts (for the SWF Heavyweight Championship)

“Live from Washington DC, welcome everyone I’m Jim Ross alongside Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, bringing you Desolution. We have a packed house of almost 40,000 here tonight, all anticipating an event to end all events...all anticipating questions to be answered, and lives to be changed forever...in a way that you can only find on SWF”

Match 1: Chris Candido v Tajiri
Feud Summary: “The opportunistic Candido is looking for a debut PPV win against the Japanese Buzzsaw who has been on a bit of a losing streak

Candido cockily makes his way to the ring, really raising the ire of the packed audience. And he stands ready in the ring as Tajiri makes his way to the ring. They lock up, and kick off our PPV in solid fashion.

Tajiri is all kicks ablazing, really looking to teach Candido a lesson for his attack last week. He has Candido reeling, knocking him out the ring at one stage. But then Candido gives a sly poke to the eye of Tajiri as they lock up in the corner, as the ref tries to separate, and Candido takes control...with a variety of crisp suplexes and draining rest holds.

The finish comes as Tajiri makes his comeback; Candido catches him in position for a Fisherman’s Suplex, Tajiri counters, hits the Green Mist, blinding Candido. He then hits the knockout kick, but as he falls Candido knocks the ref out of the ring, in a horrible piece of misfortune. Tajiri’s aghast, and goes outside to revive the referee. It takes him a minute or two, but he rolls the ref into the ring. He goes over to Candido, who catches him in a roll-up, grabs some tights, and gets the 3, much to the chagrin of the Japanese Buzzsaw, and the sellout crowd.

    Winner, by pinfall...Chris Candido.

    06.jpg

Backstage, Shaq can be seen arriving with his entourage. He has his swagger on!

    11841-phoenix_suns_reportedly_talking_miami_heat_shawn_marion_marcus_banks_shaq_deal_wise.jpg

In the next shot, we got to Gorgeous George, who is preparing for his match...in an unconventional manner. He’s getting his pins put into his hair, and is having perfume sprayed onto him. He yells at the hairdresser and fires her, as she put a pin in the wrong place...

    Next up...

Match 2: Strike Force (c) v The Wild Samoans for the SWF Tag Team Championship
Feud Summary: “A fragile looking partnership of Santana and Martel need to stick together to have any chance of fending off the destructive Islanders, who have taken the tag division by storm.”

Strike Force look united as they come to the ring. They’re chatting away together, presumably relaying tactics to each other, and give a nice encouraging slap to one another, as the Samoans make their way to the ring, without Peter Maivia, as he has a match with Ray Stevens to prepare for.

Santana and Afa start off, and Santana gets a quick start, causing the big Samoan to stumble several times with his high-impact, at times high flying, offence. A couple of failed Irish whips lead to him throwing some punches, which have the Samoan reeling; he then ill-advisedly tries a headbutt, almost knocking himself out, which swings the match the Samoans way. They continue to dominate with a series of agricultural looking suplexes, and stiff as **** punches and headbutts, while keeping each other fresh with quick tags.

The finish comes as Santana finally gets some separation, and finally the opportunity to tag his partner, who comes in to a loud ovation. He clears house, and as Santana gets up on the apron, Martel tags him back in. Santana looks confused. He gets in, reluctantly. Martel then shockingly kicks him in the back, hits a vile backbreaker, and leaves the ring to chorus of boos. He puts his head down and walks to the back. The Samoans pick off the prone body of Santana and become new Champions with a double headbutt.

Winners by pinfall, and new SWF Tag team Champions...The Wild Samoans!

    4667070

Stone Cold arrives in his pickup truck, gets out, and marches towards the entrance, needless to say with gameface well and truly on. It’s been 5 weeks without getting his hands on Jake; can he hold out another couple of hours?!

Elsewhere, Shaq is seen chatting to Sapp...
“My man, this is going to be one hell of a night. Those to homeboys are a disgrace to their profession, and a disgrace to everything that we stand for. I don’t blame George so much man...yeah he’s a fruity bitch, but he doesn’t seem to know any better. But those 2 negros need some lessons learned. If they even breathe on you boy, they’re going to regret it”

*they high five, Sapp switches on some music, and they start dancing, Jersey Shore style”

    vinynsweaty.gif

    Next up...

Match 3: Ray ‘The Crippler’ Stevens v Peter Maivia.
Feud Summary: “Sore at feeling underappreciated, Maivia want to show just how big a deal he is. Stevens is looking for retribution after the unprovoked attack, and the loss of a man he deemed a good friend and ally”

There’s a real old school feel to this match up, and the crowd are really into it, recognising that these 2 represent the style which was the basis of what is modern professional wrestling. Stevens is the clear favourite after being on the end of a horrible beating at the hands of Maivia’s Wild Samoans the previous week. Stevens still tries to shake hands with Maivia to start with, but is met with a slap to the face, which lights the flame, and the lock up.

Stevens doesn’t hold back, and uses all the tricks he normally uses, much to the delight of the crowd, who are revelling in cheering a guy who is clearly cheating...using sly pokes to the eye, choking, etc, to gain an advantage.

The match swings from side to side, but the finish comes as Maivia goes for the piledriver...Stevens reversing it into a back drop, then a piledriver of his own. A war ends in a win for Stevens, and he has proven that he was indeed the strongest link. He lift Maivia to his feet, but Maivia is having none of it, and squirms away, sulking to the back.

    Winner, by pinfall...Ray Stevens.

    200208.jpg

Arn Anderson is talking to Pillman.
“I’ve got my own problem to deal with Brian, but trust me, once I’m done, i’ll be supporting you all the way, and I’ll hopefully make it to the ring with you. I know Tully better than he knows himself, and i’ll be able to make sure he gets up to nothing untoward. I know how he thinks, I know how he works, so I’ll have your back”

    Next up...

Match 4: Arn Anderson v Muhammad Hassan
Feud Summary: “Arn uses Hassan to make a statement in teaching Pillman a lesson in what he can give him. Hassan took exception and bloodied him violently to set up this match. Hassan has also been like a man-against-the world recently, and will be desperate to prove he is worth a title shot”

This is a brawl from the start. Arn, with a raucous crowd behind him (as much due to their hatred for Hassan than anything), gets the upper hand, as he manages to isolate Hassan’s left arm, presumably trying to take out a body part, an Anderson tradition, and also, it takes out Hassan’s Camel Clutch submission move. This is the story of the match, as Anderson is in control mostly. Hassan though manages to throw in a couple of slams and get the upper hand as we get to the finish.

The finish comes as Hassan struggles with his arm. He tries throwing Arn into the corner, fails, and gets reversed into a spinebuster. Hassan kicks out. Anderson can’t believe it and is incandescent with the ref. Hassan sneaks out the ring to buy some time. Anderson follows, and Hassan continues to buy time by sliding back in the ring, much to the disapproval of the crowd. He’s pleading with Arn. Suddenly the wailing music hits, and the masked men from previous weeks stand at the top of the ramp. They distract Arn momentarily and that’s all Hassan needs, as he throws a high knee to the back of Arn, and locks on the Camel Clutch. It’s only a matter of time, and Arn taps out, for what is a bit of a shocking victory, as Hassan proves his doubters wrong, with a little outside help.

    Winner, by submission...Muhammad Hassan.

    muhammad-hassan.jpeg

Arn is dejected as he rises to his feet once Hassan has left. He gets a generous round of applause from the crowd, which he acknowledges. He even appears to have a tear in his eye, shocked at the warmth of the crowd.

    0.jpg

Jake arrives, snake and bag in hand. The camera only catches him from a distance, as he walks in the side entrance.

    Next...

Match 5: Tully Blanchard (c) v Brian Pillman for the SWF Pure Championship
Feud Summary: “Pillman, the number 1 contender, takes on the long time champion Blanchard, whose old friend Arn Anderson has taken to mentoring the younger man”

The match starts, with no Arn Anderson in sight, as he’s presubably still recovering from his loss in the last match. The match is a perfect blend of the flawless technique of Blanchard, with the high-octane offence of Pillman, who has a real energy about him...his mentor obviously given him an edge. Tully ducks, dives, buys time, escapes the ring regularly, and finally manages to ground Pillman after being chased, and does take control, isoloating the left knee of Pillman.

The finish then comes as Arn Anderson does make his way to the ring. He’s seen encouraging Pillman, with Tully perplexed at what’s happening. Tully bounces off the ropes to try clothesline Pillman, but gets tripped by Arn, which Tully is irate at. He jumps out and squares up to Arn. He backs off though and gets back in. He gets caught by an enziguri kick from Pillman, who then goes high up top for the big splash. He hits it. 1......2.......Anderson puts Tully’s foot on the rope unbeknownst the ref. Pillman is in shock. Arn looks at him innocently, which then turns into a wry smile, as Tully comes in with a shot to back; then hitting a slingshot suplex for the win.

Winner, via pinfall, and still SWF Pure Champion...Tully Blanchard!

    tully_blanchard.jpg

Anderson attacks Pillman after the match, grabs a mic, and dismissively says...
“You fell for the oldest trick in the book son, don’t ever trust anyone without good reason, and don’t ever believe you can split up former Horsemen. We’re brothers man. You can’t possibly have believed I’d choose you over him?

Come back to me when you’ve learned a few more lessons. For now, take your beating like a man.”

Anderson delivers another DDT, before him and Tully leave the ring.

Shaq is psyching Bob Sapp up for the next match, giving a few slaps to the face, etc. They’re forehead to forehead as the camera cuts to ringside again.

Match 6: Bob Sapp v Gorgeous George
Feud Summary: “Sapp doesn’t like George, so spears him. George retaliates by enlisting the help of some negro helping hands to get the upper hand on Sapp, who in turn enlisted the help of one of the most famous sportsmen in America. But at the heart of this is basic Good v Evil...Charisma v Arrogance...Likeable v Detestable...and just basically wanting to shut the arrogant bastard up!"

George comes out flanked by Harlem Heat V 2.0. They are being roundly booed as expected. George just laughs away, seemingly loving every minute of it. He carefully disrobes, hands his robe and jewellery to his helping hands, and is ready to go. Sapp follows him, Shaq in tow, and they both get the crowd going something fierce. Their dancing, once again, would put the Jersey Shore muscleheads to shame. Once in the ring though, Sapp’s face changes, and we’re underway.

George is a pro at dodging, weaving, and just plain avoiding a fight. They lock up 2 or 3 times, and each time, George separates himself, ducks out the ring, washes his hands, biding more time, and gets back in, much to the disdain of the crowd. But he doesn’t care. On the 4th lockup, George catches Sapp coming in, and manages to ground the powerhouse with a couple of swift kicks to the knee – the tactic hopefully to nullify the running spear tackle that Sapp has been using so effectively. Every time Sapp manages to use his strength and beat George down, it seems George is able to buy time on the outside, meaning Sapp can never quite get the head of steam he wants. It also doesn’t help that Harlem 2.0 is subtly injecting itself in the match with little slaps behind the ref’s back, and quick beatdowns when Sapp is thrown out. Shaq is struggling to stop the routine.

The finish comes, however, as Sapp makes a comeback, and finally gets a run of steam going. He hits a few clotheslines on George, hip shakes to boot of course, and Shaq is riling the crowd up. Harlem 2.0 look worried. Sapp sets up for the running spear but Ahmed pulls George out the ring under the bottom rope. They look to bring George to the back. Sapp and Shaq charge behind them and knock Harlem 2.0 over. That leaves George who is brought to the ring by Sapp. Shaq continues to beat Harlem while they’re down...just long enough for the finish to happen. Sapp sets up for the spear, hits it; as he tries to hook the leg off it, George manages to turn the pinning combination into his own. 1....................2........................and Sapp kicks out. That was George’s last chance. He is winded, and Sapp isn’t going to give him a second chance. He hoists him up and hits a running powerslam for the pin and the victory.

    Winner, via pinfall...Bob Sapp!

    Bob_Sapp_im.jpg

George is prone, as Sapp rolls out the ring. He picks up the handwash, very obviously washes his hands, picks George up, slaps him round the face a few times, does his best Michael Jackson shimmy, and hits George with a knockout punch, before throwing him out the ring.

Shaq rolls into the ring, and they celebrate with some typical homie (or Sarah Palin) dance moves, as the crowd is in raptures.

A split screen is put up on the Tron of Stone Cold and Jake Roberts taping up for tonight’s Main Event. Stone Cold looks restless, as Jake sits cold as ever. A perfect contradiction in styles and personalities. Will Jake’s apparent psychological edge over the last few weeks bear dividends, or can Stone Cold overcome the last few weeks to dish out yet another can of whoop-ass?

The Main Event: Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) v Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts for the SWF Heavyweight Championship.
Feud Summary: “Roberts wins the number 1 contendership and proceeds to outthink Austin for the bulk of a month, as he seeks a measure of revenge, for what he describes as Austin causing him to be a mere footnote in Stone Cold’s career, rather than the legend he thinks he should be. This is about the title, but also legacy. Who will win out? Can Austin, now he gets the chance man-on-man, face-to-face, beat Jake, keeping his title, and consigning him to history once again?”

Jake saunters to the ring first, Damien in tow. He rolls into the ring, and as is his custom, sits in the corner of the ring. The glass then shatters, and Austin hits the ring, like a Jim Hellwig of old, but Jake has slithered out the ring, and Austin can’t find him. He is irate. He jumps out the ring but can’t find him still. Where the hell is Jake? Suddenly Jake blindsides him from behind the announce table, chop blocking him from behind, leaving Austin writhing in pain, maybe suffering from a recurrence of that ankle injury. He throws Austin into the ring, the bell goes and we’re officially underway.

Jake takes control, and Austin can’t really get going. A few times Austin threatens to make a comeback, but Jake constantly returns to the ankle. The crowd keeps chanting ‘Let’s Go Austin’ in expectation, but Jake does a superb job of keeping the Rattlesnake grounded. About halfway through the bout, Austin rallies, hitting his Lou Thesz press, some driving elbows, and looks set to get that all-too-familiar rally going. At this point Jake slithers out the ring, buying himself time once again...suckering Austin into chasing him, and succeeding in once again getting that ankle.

The finish comes from about 22 minutes in. Jake hits a short-arm clothesline, and calls for the DDT. He hooks Austin up, Austin reverses into a back drop. Austin calls for the stunner, Jake catches, and drives an elbow into the injured ankle. He synches in a half Boston Crab, wrenching the ankle right back. Austin guts it out to the ropes. Jake sets up for the DDT again, Austin pushes him off. He can barely stand, but he musters a Stunner out of nowhere. Because of the injury there is hesitation on the cover. That’s what Jake needs, and he kicks out, much to the shock of the crowd, and more importantly Austin. Jake rolls out, Austin follows him. Jake catches him in the DDT on the floor. The crowd is in shock. Jake struggles to lift the dead weight into the ring. He manages to, covers Austin...1.................2.....................KICK OUT!

Jake is irate. Austin is unable to stand pretty much. Jake slithers again to the outside. Austin follows him. He goes for Stunner, Jake reverses AGAIN, this time throwing Austin into the barricade. Jake goes and gets the belt. He puts it on himself, and taunts the crowd. The referee takes it off him, but as he puts it back, Jake grabs the bag which was supposed to have Damien in it, takes out a sledgehammer, and whacks Austin’s ankle, surely breaking it. He throws the evidence away, and throws Austin into the ring. He hooks him up; Austin though, manages a roll-up of all things...1......................2...................3!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Winner, via pinfall, and still SWF Heavyweight Champion....Stone Cold Steve Austin!

    stonecold_l.jpg

Jake cannot believe it. Austin is in pain but he has still beaten The Snake. Jake is sitting in the corner in shock. Austin gets to his feet, gets given his title, while hobbling badly. Jake goes to attempting to deck him...Austin ducks, and hits the mother of all Stunners, and yells away in Jake’s face.

He gets to his feet, has beers chucked to him, and celebrates Stone Cold style as Desolution goes off the air...!

Texas Tornado with his arm bandaged up (thanks to Del Rio) joins the announce team for commentary on the match. Ricardo tries to get involved in the match but Texas Tornardo gets up and chases him away from the ring. In the end Chavo hits Del Rio with the three amigos and the frog splash for the win. Chavo is the new IC champion. He celebrates in the ring doing a Eddie dance.

Triple Threat for the Women's Championship
Hamada (C) Taylor Wilde V Lita

Backstage Magnus wishes Taylor good luck in her match and then enters the GM's office. Taylor looks puzzled as to why he went in but continues on and makes her way to the ring as her triple threat match is next. Lita is out next and lastly current champion Hamada is out. Taylor stays out of the ring at the start and lets Lita and Hamada start the match. Hamada knocks Lita out off the ring. Taylor enters and attacks Hamada she tries for a few quick covers but fails. Lita is recovering outside. She finally comes back in takes down both Hamada and Taylor with clotheslines. In the end Lita hits a DDT on Taylor and gets the win and she is the new Women's Champion. Lita shakes hands with Hamada and also offers her hand to Taylor but she refuses. She is crying in the middle of the ring.

    Boxing Match
Mr. T V Rowdy Roddy Piper

Piper is backstage talking to Desmond Wolfe, Magnus and Doug Williams. Mr. T is out first. Piper makes his way out next with a mic in hand. Piper gets in the ring with the mic and the bell rings and he backs out of the ring again. He says the ref can count him out as he wont be competing in a boxing match tonight and he starts leaving. The ref counts and Mr. T has won the match. Mr. T gets a mic and he calls Piper a coward. Piper pretends to run towards the ring but stops. Williams and Magnus come and attack Mr. T, Piper then comes in and now all three are beating on him.

    Part II

Wolfe and Stephanie are seen arguing in her GM office and the door is suddenly slammed closed.

    X Title Match
Open to everyone from LWE Roster

The announcers call this a match a battle royal for anyone to enter. Out first is Primo Colon. Out next is The Real Deal Damian Steele, Carlito, Hamada (yes the former Women’s champion is entering the match must to surprise of everyone but is allowed as Stephanie said the match is open to everyone), Texas Tornado is out even though his arms is bandaged up, Magnus and Williams are also out for this match even though they have tag title match later and the last contestant is Del Rio who enters and goes straight for Texas Tornado. As expected Magnus and Williams team up and the first eliminated is Steele. Carlito tries to eliminate Hamada but in the process is eliminated by Primo who then is eliminated by Hamada. Magnus and Williams go after Hamada and she exits the ring under the ropes. Williams is laughing and Magnus eliminates him. Williams is fuming outside but he has to leave as the ref orders him to. Hamada reenters and tries to eliminate Magnus but cannot and eliminates herself. Del Rio has the armbar locked in on Texas Tornado in the ring and won’t let go despite the ref trying to break it up. Chavo hits the ring and takes down Del Rio. He knocks him out over the ring and follows. Chavo and Del Rio continue their fight outside and all the way to the back with refs and security trying to break it up. Magnus eliminates Texas Tornado and just as he is celebrating he is eliminated by Piper. Magnus gets a mic and says he was fired by Stephanie so he can’t be in this match and therefore he is the winner. Piper gets a mic and says Steph can kiss his Scottish ass as he isn’t going anywhere. Piper is in the ring waiting for his X Title belt. Stephanie comes out with the new title belt. She tells Piper that he was fired earlier and that stands so the new X Title champion is Brutus Magnus. Magnus comes up the ramp and meets Stephanie and gets his title. Stephanie tells Piper to leave the ring or someone will make him. Piper refuses so Desmond Wolfe comes out on Steph’s orders and beats Piper.

Triple Threat Tag Team Ladder Match for Tag Titles
The Motor City Machine Guns (C) V Paul London & Billy Kidman V Brutus Magnus & Doug Williams

Paul London and Billy Kidman are out first. Next out is Doug Williams who don’t look happy at his tag partner the new X Title champion Brutus Magnus and finally the current champions The Motor City Machine Guns are out. The tag titles are hanging up over the ring. For most of the match Williams and Magnus were not on the same page and in the middle of the match Williams hit Magnus with a ladder and left. Most of the action inside the ring was between Shelley and Kidman as London had taken out Sabin with
450° splash off a ladder and both were down outside the ring. In the end Shelley climbed the ladder and got the tag tiles so The Motor City Machine Guns kept their titles. Sabin and London took most of bumps in the match.

60 Minute Iron Man Match for WHC Title
Chris Jericho (C) V Desmond Wolfe

Jericho is still not ok from his beat down by Wolfe earlier in the night but is still going to compete. He is the medic’s room being checked over and Stephanie comes in to check on him he tells to worry about her Dessie and leaves for the ring. As expected Wolfe attacks Jericho in the injured areas from his previous attack earlier in the night and takes control of the match earlier on. Wolfe scores 2 pinfalls on Jericho pretty quickly. Somehow Jericho reverses an attempted third pinfall by Wolfe will a roll up and scores one for himself. Jericho is using the ropes to help him up and get to his feet. Jericho has turned the match around in his favour and locks in the walls of Jericho, Wolfe taps and not is 2 – 2. It is nearing the 50 minute mark and both men are wrecked and both are trying for near pinfalls. Finally on the 56 minute Jericho scores another pinfall on Wolfe and on the 60 minute as the ref calls for bell and Jericho retains his world title. Wolfe is mad he attacks the ref and takes Jericho’s belt and knocks out Jericho with it. Stephanie comes out and tells Wolfe to give Jericho his title and leave the ring. Wolfe wont so Steph tells him that she has found a better man for herself and wants a divorce, Wolfe is stunned and looks at Jericho as he thinks it is him but out comes the X Title champion Brutus Magnus and he kisses Steph. He tells Wolfe sorry but his heart wants Steph. Wolfe is stunned and crushed in the middle of the ring as the show closes.
