Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Are there any self employed carers out there? I'm looking for info/advice on working for myself as I am a qualified healthcare assistant working as a home carer at the moment through an agency.

    No there are no self employed carers. HIQUA (Health Information & Quality Authority) to a great extent regulate care for people who need it and the providers of this care are typically hospitals, nursing homes/agencies etc.
