False advertising on O2.ie

Hi,

I signed up for PAYG Experience More.

According to http://www.o2online.ie/o2/shop/sim-only/ the package comes with free O2 to O2 calls however this is not the case as you get charge 30c per minute when topped up.

Can you please confirm?

The Experience More plan is inclusive of unlimited any network texts for the 30 days following your €20 topup in the one go. It is the Experience Plus plan which includes unlimited calls and texts to all o2 customers. To change plan yourself you can text PLUS to 50308. Within 24-48 hours you will receive a text advising you of the price plan changing. Following your first €20 top-up after the price plan change, your free texts will kick in within another 24-48 hours. You can also call us on 1747 from your handset to have this actioned straight away.

I understand that but why is are you advertising the Experience More as having free O2 calls?

that is sloppy. i think its a genuine mistake but pretty unprofessional.

Their Homepage still informs everyone they'll get 250 free webtexts, even though that has been doubled to 500 :rolleyes:
